We provide both Tahiti and Persian lime varieties, and can offer
you the possibility to receive a conventional, untreated, organic
and/or FairTrade product.

PACKAGING OPTIONS

The limes are available in open top boxes,
or prepacked. Besides we provide various
packaging options including nets and
flowpack trays (with / or without muddlers).

The Belleza limes are represented by our Beautiful

OUR OWN LIME CULTIVATION IN BAHIA, BRAZIL

2018 In 2018, Torres Tropical started a project to initiate an eco-friendly pro-
duction of limes.

As most of the “ lime production“ in Brazil requires chemicals and post-
harvest substances, we are lowering the use of chemicals to close to zero.
By not using any post-harvest treatments, we are able to market our
Limes as “ Untreated ”.

The past two years, we have been working hard to get a good infrastructure, from cultivation to working
conditions. A new project is starting that includes the building of extra facilities in order to improve the
infrastructure, and will be ready by the end of 2020. In the meantime new trees have also been planted.

Thanks to the realization of this project,
Torres Tropical has the opportunity to
provide employment in one of the poorest
regions of Brazil, as well as to create a sus-
tainable food chain process that respects
human rights and the natural environment
in order to provide a healthy product.
