FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK...........

Dear Parents & Caregivers

Kumusta on another crisp, frosty morning. The last week has been very
enjoyable for us all at school. The build up to the annual Moffett Cup
netball and rugby competition has been progressing well. We have two
rugby and five netball teams playing which is great and wouldn’t be
possible without the help of our parent coaches. Hopefully we’ll see lots of
family members cheering along the Woodlands teams tomorrow.

Staff news: A warm welcome back to Joyce Wakelin who has been away
visiting her family in Holland. Our Reading Recovery teacher Judith Paulin
is on leave for a month so we welcome Janet Nicolson to the team as our
temporary Reading Recovery teacher.

HAPPY TIMES
EATING LUNCH TOGETHER

Congratulations to last week’s winner of the Principal’s Award for
Caring, Tessa Burgess. Tessa has many friends because she is
very friendly and caring. She gets involved in many school
activities. Tessa demonstrates our value of TRUSTWORTHINESS
really well.

Please find included with this newsletter the notice about our
Learning Conferences. Could you please return this to school by
Tuesday next week (the 8th of August).

May this fabulous weather help with a successful start to calving. Have a
good week.

Regards

Fiona
