FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK...........

Dear Parents & Caregivers

Spring greetings to you all. Today we have had an exciting visit from
some members of the STAGs rugby team. They talked about being
athletes and how they prepare themselves to play rugby at a high level.

Congratulations to last week’s winner of the Principal’s Award
for Caring, Logan van der Straaten. Logan is a super helpful,
polite, caring and co-operative boy who is a great role model for
others to look up to.

A very warm welcome to our latest new student, Blu Trillana and his
parents April and Jasper. Blu has just turned five years old and he is
enjoying being at school with his friends.
This week we will be saying farewell and best wishes to Ranud
Rajakarunanayake who, along with his parents Nithi and Samadhi, is
moving back to Sri Lanka to live.

Today we have attached to this newsletter
• An updated school families phone list, for use in an emergencies or a bus

delay.
• Information about Term 4 sport options.
• A copy of our Concerns and Complaints procedure which outlines what to

do if you have a problem that needs addressing. Step number one is
always to speak to the staff member concerned with the problem first.

Check our Upcoming Events and school calendar for dates to be noted
down. Our last day of school for the year will be confirmed in time for next
week’s newsletter.

Have a good week.

Parents, please let the school know when your child is absent. When a child
is not at school, and we don’t know why, Nicky has to spend quite a bit of
time ringing parents. This is a “must do” for the safety of your children. If
ringing the school is not always the easiest option, you can email
[email protected] or text us on 027 758 1503.
