The following are the Terms and Conditions for participation in the Startup Launchpad program. Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully to know whether you are eligible for participation. If there are more than 20 eligible applications, there will be a pre-selection phase to select the best 10 applications to pass to jury review. Otherwise, all applications will pass directly to jury review. The pre-selection panel and jury usually have a different composition, but jury members may participate in the pre-selection panel. The evaluation is planned to take place between May 10 and May 13, 2024. The 20 best ranked applicants will be invited as participants in the Kickoff meeting in May 2024. TERMS AND CONDITIONS STARTUP LAUNCHPAD This project will help entrepreneurs with an innovative solution to grow their business on the local market, although it intends to help entrepreneurs expand to the international market. This will help with the company's growth, and additionally, it will generate foreign exchange, which has a positive impact on our economy. The program will be finalized with a pitch competition in front of a jury consisting of representatives from MEO and the private sector. Participation in the Startup Launchpad is at participant’s own risk. CITI recommends registration of the business or idea at the Bureau for Intellectual Property (BIP) by means of the “ienveloppe”. For more information about the “i-enveloppe”, feel free to contact BIP. 3.DEADLINES AND SUBMISSION Open subscription: April 2, 2024 End subscription: May 10, 2024 at 11:59 PM Participants should submit the registration online. Participant’s product/ service should have a positive and sustainable effect on the business, the society and/ or the economy in general. 4.CONTRIBUTION TO ECONOMY 5. PARTICIPATION AT OWN RISK 4. ELIGIBILITY The contest is open to all legal entities between 1 and 5 years of existence (i.e. natural (older than 18) or legal persons). 6. PROCEDURE EXPECTED RESULTS 1. Every person or entity with a product or service: - Between 1 and 5 years of existence - Registered at the Chamber of Commerce. - The participant or representative is the owner of the idea/ concept or business or represents the company owning the participating idea/ concept. - Representative needs to be at least 18 years of age 2. Participation in the Startup Launchpad program is free of charge. CITI will cover the costs of coaching and mentoring and other training related costs. Additional costs of extra advisory out of the scope of the trainings will be on participant's costs. CITI is not responsible for the involvement of each participant in the Startup Launchpad program. We expect participant’s commitment and participation and proper execution of tasks to guarantee participant's progress. CITI will publish and promote the project by using photo’s, videos of participants in an effective and responsible manner. We will use our website, and social media channels to promote the participants, their projects and their progress. CITI may cancel the project Startup Launchpad and decide not to proceed with the project without any obligation if: (a) no, or less than 5 applications are received (b) for unforeseen circumstances. 11. ANG 500,- PENALTY All participants must attend at least 70% of the scheduled trainings (online or in-person), in order to achieve satisfactory progress. Failure to achieve satisfactory attendance may result in the cancellation of participation. 12. CANCELLATION OF THE PROJECT CITI will charge the participant a Fl 500.- penalty for failing to comply with the commitment they have entered into. This commitment entails the failure of compliance with 70% attendance of training sessions or cancellation of participation without any previous notice or a valid reason. 10. COMMITMENT 9.
