To help ease student financial and banking activities we have a
small machine located at the ground floor within the campus
called the ATM machine. This machine is provided at the courtesy
of AGROBANK.

ATMs offer a convenient way to
access your savings, but as
machines that spit out money,
they're natural targets for
thieves. These thieves don't
even have to break into an ATM
to access the cash; they can take
it out of your hands, or steal your
PIN and pretend to be you.

ATM

Check out these tips to ensure you and your saving is safe.
1. Keep your personal identification number (PIN) - personal. Never write it down
or share it with anyone - It's good to update your PIN number once in a while.
2. Be aware of your surroundings. If you see any suspicious activity, or if there
aren't any lights around, avoid using that machine and find another in a more
public area
3. Bring someone with you when using an ATM. If you can't find a buddy, use an
ATM that is located in a public area
4. Have your debit card ready to go as you approach the ATM.
5. Use your body to “shield” the ATM keyboard as you enter your PIN.
6. Always take your receipts or transaction records with you. This will avoid any
of your personal information getting into the wrong hands.
7. Do not count any money you received from the ATM. After taking your money
out of the ATM, immediately place the cash in your purse or wallet, and count
it later.
8. Check the ATM for a card skimmer. A card skimmer is a device attached to the
payment terminal of an ATM that is used to steal your card information when
inserting your card to withdraw money.

To encourage entrepreneurial activities, Widad
University College has developed a platform in
its University Portal to encourage students and
staff market their products or perform online
sales transaction. This is e-commerce. It is very
much like Shopee or Lazada. Members of the
university make an order through this platform
and you deliver. Payment? You will have your
own methods to settle this.

Students who wish to participate in this
programme will simply has to produce a brief
summary of your business plan (as part of
programme development). Submit to the
Entrepreneur Unit in the Student Affairs
Department and you are ready to go.
