THE HOCKEY MOM CONTEST IS BACK!

It’s time to kick off our annual Hockey Mom of the Year contest! The contest runs

now through February 3rd with monthly winners to be named in October,

November, January, February, and the Hockey Mom of the Year award

announced in March. Any youth hockey mom in our area (excluding

BHHS agents, employees, and affiliated business employees) is eligible to

win! Monthly winners receive a bouquet of roses, 4 Penguins® game

tickets, in-game recognition on jumbotron, recognition on Hockey Mom

wall inside of PPG Paints Arena, Penguins prize pack, a donation for their

team/association of $500, 30 minute private skate at PPG Paints Arena,

and recognition on websites and social media. Hockey Mom of the Year

receives a suite (40 people) to the March 2nd game, in-game recognition

on jumbotron as HMOY, personalized jersey, commemorative plaque,

recognition on Hockey Mom wall inside PPG Paints Arena, prize pack, and

a donation for their team/association of $1,000. This contest is run as a way

to give back to the community and thank our area Hockey Moms for the

passion, commitment, and dedication they demonstrate every day. You

do not have to be a hockey expert or even know someone who plays

hockey to promote the contest. As a contest that is open to the community, it’s a

great prospecting tool to get your name out in the community!

Hathaway HomeServices Northwood Realty Services (Ohio), is awarding the 2019-2020
Dream…Innovate…Grow Scholarships to three amazing seniors that embody one or more
of these traits. We are looking for applicants who mirror some of the qualities of our team
in terms of leadership, volunteerism, character, and an overall positive attitude towards
life. Each scholarship is valued at $1000 per year, for up to four years. The deadline for
applications is January 3, 2020, so let’s get the word out!

Meet Our Agents

Carol Fodi & Sarah Wyzkoski

Sarah and her husband, Lee reside in Pine Township with their 3 dogs and 2 cats

on 4 acres of land that they love. Sarah was born and raised in Bellevue and

her husband Lee is from Mars. They decided to find a home in between which

led them to Pine Township. Sarah and her husband own Wizzers Tree Service

LLC, a local tree service that has serviced many Realtors and their clients needs.

Sarah and Lee love being outdoors whether they are biking, hiking, kayaking or

just hanging out by a fire. They both love to travel and explore new places. One

of Sarah’s greatest accomplishments/real estate goals was selling her parents

their very first house!

Carol and her husband, David, also reside in Pine Twp. They live just 2 doors down from Sarah and Lee,

which they just love. Carol and David also have a Son, Tom, who is married and has 2 children who are 6 and

3. Spending time with their grandkids is such a blessing to them. Carol and David also love to travel and

explore new places. David is set to retire this November, so they are excited to have more time to start

planning some traveling. Carol also enjoys quilting and doing crafts with her granddaughter.

Sarah and Carol are a great mother/daughter duo in Real Estate. Sarah has been in the industry since

graduating high school. She started out at another brokerage as an admin and assisted with accounting

needs. After the brokerage closed its doors, Sarah found herself wondering what she wanted to do next. She

decided to get her license. While Sarah was still in classes, Carol was laid off from her job as an admin for a

printing company. Sarah said to her mom “Why not get Licensed?” and so she did. Sarah decided to wait for

Carol to finish her classes so they could take the exam together. They both passed their exams on the same

day! Almost 10 years later, they could not be happier to be working together. What one lacks the other is

there to support and help with. It’s a seamless process with their team to get the job done for their clients.

Dan U’Ren & Dawn Ross-U’Ren

Dan and Dawn U’Ren are both lifelong North Hills area residents. They actually

grew up a street apart from each other and attended the same schools a year

apart. They are both graduates of North Hills High School in 1984 & 1985. In the

early years, Dan started out working in construction and painting, mainly

servicing higher end new construction homes. He then transitioned into his

career in Real Estate in 1997, later earning his Associate Brokers license in 2006.

Dawn worked in bank management until her division was outsourced in 2004,

she then decided to start a new career in the Real Estate business. She started

out selling active adult 55+, high end, new construction communities before

returning to re-sales in 2012. Dan loves all things sports related. He also loves to cook and bake delicious

creations, often referring to being in his “test kitchen” with new recipes. Dawn loves to shop and gamble (for

real). They both love to travel, entertain and dine with family and friends. Together they enjoy relaxing with

their 29 year old daughter Caitlyn, 15 year old cat Kono and 1 year old dog Maxx.
