SINU REGION (400 TO 1600 A.C.)
Located in the Northwest part of Colombia along the Sinu and San Jorge

MUISCA (300 - 1540 A.C.)

extraordinary pieces, three-dimensional poporos, helmets; nose ornaments
were used for ritual ceremonies probable for high rank chiefs. The largest
treasure found in this area was the Quimbaya treasure found in 1897, and was
given to the Queen of Spanish as a gift.

NARIÑO (750 - 1600 A.C.)
