School Fee Policy (Pre-K-K3)

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten
School Fees 2020 - 2021

The fees at Ubon Adventist International Mission School are worked out prudently to cover all educational,
operational, maintenance and improvement costs. They are separated into the following categories:

1. Application Fee is a one-time fee for admissions testing, interviews, placement, and registration.

2. Tuition Fee is a yearly obligation that covers all expenses including, but not limited to, teaching and
learning, library, laboratories, classrooms, IT infrastructure, administration, guidance and health

services, government liaison, accreditation, and membership fees.

3. General Fee is a yearly obligation to cover:
● Textbooks, e-books, yearbook
● Student activities, classroom decorations and field trips
● Maintenance of the assembly hall, playgrounds and sports facilities, etc.
● Utilities, internet, and software licenses

4. Catering Fee covers all expenses incurred in preparing meals and the up-keeping of the kitchen

5. Refund
 In the event of unpaid loss or damage to any goods or property, the full value or the cost of repair
will be charged from the student.
 The student must fill out the School Leaving Clearance Form, have all required signatures of the
school’s custodians, and submit the form for the claim to the school cashier no less than 30
days before withdrawal from the school.

 85% of the total tuition paid will be refunded to students who withdraw before classes begin.

 50% of the total tuition paid is refundable if the students withdraw within 30 days after classes
begin.

 No refund is given if the students withdraw after the 30 days.
 Damage/Loss Deposit and Development Fee and Book Deposit must be requested within 45

days of withdrawal from UAIMS. Refund will be given 2 weeks after submitting a withdrawal form.

6. School Fee Revisions
There may or may not be an increase, but in the event of an increase, it will be approximately 3% per
year.

7. Family Discounts on Tuition Fee:

● One child Full Payment
● Two child 10 % discount

● Third child 15 % discount

*Special discount of 10% from tuition fee for students who are Christians – family must provide certificate
of baptism as proof (based on approval from School Administration)

8. Timely Payment of Fees
All payments must be made before or no later than the payment deadlines stated in the invoices and bill-
payment slips. The table below specifies the deadlines:

All students who pay after the deadlines will not be entitled to any payment discounts. In addition, a late
payment fine of 100 Baht per day will be charged until the payment is cleared.

Students whose fees are not paid before the start of the quarter will be allowed to attend classes for first
month of the quarter. If the outstanding payment is not settles or parents have not made clear arrangement
with the Business Office. The student will be ask to remain at home while continuing their studies
independently until the parents are able to settle the outstanding balance or make a clear arrangement with
the Business office.

Note: Academic documents such as report cards and transcripts will only be processed once all
outstanding balances are settled.

9. Payment Methods
All payments must be made by one of the following options:

1. Credit Card Transactions (payments incur a 2% additional charge)
2. Bank Transfers

4. NO CASH payments are accepted; we thank you for your cooperation.
10. Accident insurance
All students are required to join the school’s accident insurance plan, which has a maximum coverage of
10,000 Baht per case of accident. All additional medical expenses incurred must be borne by the
parents/guardians by their own finances or insurance for their children.
Parents are free to follow up with the insurance company directly. The school will assist as best as it can to
help parents.
11. Fee Refunds and Conditions
The terms for refunds in the case of withdrawals or dismissals are as follows:

- All fees paid for the current quarter are non-refundable
- Food and tuition fees paid in advance for subsequent quarters will be refunded in full.
- The refundable amount is not based on published fees but on actual payment amounts made.
- The student must fill out the School Leaving Clearance form, have all required signatures

and clear all liabilities to the school before refunds will be made.
Please take note:
The fees of the school are subject to change from time to time with advance notification.
12. Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Late Pick-up Supervision Fee
Parents are expected to pick up their children no later than 16:00. Late pick-up supervision will be charged
at 100 Baht per hour after 16:00.
13. Kindergarten Summer School
The Kindergarten will be open during summer school with a fee of 10,000 Baht for Ubon Adventist
International Mission School.
