Designing with technology
Building Information Modelling (BIM) has
become an established method to technically
design, deliver and operate buildings during their
lifetime.
We have invested heavily in BIM for over 10 years because
it creates greater efficiencies and more robust outputs in the
increasingly complex delivery of modern buildings.
BIM has many applications and layers of complexity that can
be used to satisfy specific client needs. Our dedicated team has
built up an extensive BIM knowledge and experience; they are
passionate ambassadors of the benefits of using BIM.
We work with clients, contractors and consultants to help create
and define BIM protocols and strategies.-BIM creates numerous
outputs but not all are relevant on every project or to every client.
Identifying what matters early is the key to the successful use of
BIM.
“Whittam Cox applied the latest 3D modelling and
visualisations techniques using BIM technologies to the full
to help us to create the highest quality of apartment possible.
The use of this technology has enabled us to capture
creativity, design and attention to detail in every aspect of
this development.”
