INTRODUCTION

At the outset it is narrated that M/s P.D. Agrawal & Co., Indore formerly registered under
the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, Section 58(1) by the Registrar of Firm’s Bhopal vide Entry
No. 412/78-79 dated 19th May, 1978 for the purpose of execution of all Civil Engineering
contracts both in public & private sectors etc. has been converted into Public Limited
Company namely P.D. Agrawal Infrastructure Ltd., Indore Under Section 565, 566 and
567 and other applicable provisions of Chapter IX of the Companies Act, 1956 w.e.f
1.12.2001.

With the liberalization of nation’s economy and opening the doors to the private sector by
Government of India in the field of infrastructure developments like roads, power, bridges,
buildings and express highways there is a vast scope in construction sector and
construction sector is entering in new era of great and fundamental changes now.

The same was visualized by us way back in 1978 when we formed this firm and made
ourselves experienced and well equipped ready to face any challenge.

We engaged ourselves and got expertise in the field of total civil engineering solutions of
executing the works of any nature and provide our services in the fields of civil engineering
work like Roads, Bridges, Dams and Airport etc.

We have all well qualified marketing professionals, project managers, civil engineers,
mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, site supervisors and experienced machines
operators with large number of highly skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled work force of our
own.

Shri P.D. Agrawal (Chairman-cum-Managing Director)

He is the supreme authority holding the portfolio as Chairman-cum-Managing Director
having attained the age of 62 years possesses vast experience of Contracts Management. He
is dynamic, energetic and fully devoted to look after the progress of ongoing contracts at
various work sites. He being vested with all Administrative and Financial Powers as laid
down in The Memorandum of Association & Articles of Association of P.D. AGRAWAL
INFRASTRUCTURE LTD., INDORE is far sighted with his vision of angle takes quick
decisions on major problems cropping up in the company affairs and ongoing contract
works as well. He is quite social, benevolent and liberal towards his employees / workers.
His main motto is “WORK IS WORSHIP” additionally he believes in “SINCERETY OF THE
PURPOSE”. He is also Chairman of Builders Association of India, of Indore Centre and
President of ISKON (International Society of Krishna Consciousness)

He also looks after the management, planning and central systems (M.P.C.S.) of the projects
and ensures all around proficiency upholding the status of M/s P.D. Agrawal
Constructions Pvt. Ltd. as Managing Director.

He is associated with technical and commercial quality control staff for undertaking task
force projects under his guidance and every incumbent borne on the establishment of the
Company is professionally trained to render required services to the company.

Shri Mahendra Kumar Agrawal (Executive Director)

He being the one and the only son of his father Shri P.D. Agrawal Aged 34 years holding the
portfolio as Director is quite young, dynamic and Master in Business Administration looks
after the general administration as Chief Executive at Registered Office, Indore. He pays
frequent visits to various sites to watch the activities of the ongoing works and takes
decision at Site to expedite progress of the work. He is far sighted and devoted to work and

due to hard work has brought the company to the new heights. He is social, mild in nature
and discreet in behavior.

Shri Raj Kumar Agrawal (Technical Adviser)
B.E. (Civil) having experience of nearly 18 years in all types of civil constructions of
Multistoried, Residential and Commercial Complexes, Industrial Complexes etc.
At present he looks after the Estimates Preparation, Planning and Optimum utilization of
machines, Manpower resources and Effective control of critical sites. He also looks after the
negotiations with various agencies and sub-contracts.
He mainly pays attention to Market Research, Planning, Managing and Formulation of
Company Policies.
He is an energetic young man professionally expertise in the field of Civil Engineering
works visits various work sites from time to time to ensure progress of the works. In the
event of certain problems in slow progress of the works, he gets the same solved under his
guidance and instruction to the respective site Incharge/Engineer to accelerate progress of
the works. He discusses technical matters relating to the works with the Managing
Director and acts according to the decision taken by the Managing Director. He is a man of
amiable nature and discreet in his behavior.
