well. We are so proud of the way our talmidim have shteiged over this

Lessons From the Parsha…

Chazal say that Tzo’raas comes as a result of speaking Lashon HoRa. The famous posuk in Tehillim )‫ יג‬.‫ (לד‬states:
"‫ ְנ ֹצר ְלשׁוֹ ְנָך ֵמָרע וּ ְשׂ ָפ ֶתיָך ִמַדּ ֵבּר ִמְר ָמה‬.‫" ִמי־ ָה ִאישׁ ֶה ָח ֵפץ ַחִיּים ֹא ֵהב ָי ִמים ִלְראוֹת טוֹב‬
“Who is the one who desires life, and loves many days, to see goodness? Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from
speaking deceitfully.”

What does the posuk mean when it says : "‫ " ֹא ֵהב ָי ִמים ִלְראוֹת טוֹב‬- “who loves days to see goodness?”

The ‫ קצות החושן‬explained: Merchants and traders often travel to faraway places looking for great deals. They are ready
to go to places where their stay will not only be uncomfortable, but even sometimes outright dangerous! Although they go
willingly, in order to provide themselves with a prosperous lifestyle, they just can’t wait for the days of their travel to pass so
that they can return home. Soon after their return home, they begin again planning for their next venture. Again, they will be
looking forward to the passing of days, when they will once again return home.

The outlook of an ehrliche yid, however, is different. He isn’t anxious for time to ‘fast-forward’. Rather, he is an ‫" ֹא ֵהב‬
"‫ ָי ִמים‬- he loves and cherishes each and every day. Why? Because he is one that seeks "‫ " ִלְראוֹת טוֹב‬- to always see the
goodness in everything. An ehrliche yid relishes every day that he can spend learning Torah, doing Mitzvos, and respecting and
seeing the goodness in others. He thus savors every day of his life, and is gratified to be zocheh to enjoy them.

talmidim are up to date on the required MMR
vaccines and we are constantly monitoring the

data to ensure full compliance.

It is permissible to carry in one’s yard if the gate is open?

This should only be done if the following two conditions are met:
 The opening is less than 15 ft long
 The opening consists of less than half of that side of the yard (in other words, the majority of
that side of the yard is still enclosed)

Note: Certain yard gates function by lowering a component into an opening dug into the ground. If this opening
becomes packed tightly, it may not be cleared on Shabbos.
Is it permissible to leave a car parked for Shabbos between the poles of an eruv?

If one made an eruv to carry in front of one’s house, one should not park a car between the poles. However, if a
car is already parked there, one may rely on the Poskim that permit using the eruv.
Is it permissible to walk outside with food in one’s mouth?

Care should be taken not to go outside with food in one’s mouth before swallowing.
Is it permissible to place an item on a wall or fence of a private domain?
When standing outside an eruv, an object may not be put down on a wall or fence of a private domain.

The class began batting practice and an exhibition

game in the gym. The class has proven to excel not
only in davening and learning, but in ‫מדות טובות‬
and ‫ בין אדם לחבירו‬as well.

The class was treated to pizza to celebrate our finishing the
entire ‫ פרק הכונס‬in ‫חזרה‬.

participated in the ‫ כתר תפילה‬Program. Our
this Sunday '‫!בעזרת ה‬ ‫ פסח‬along with a lot of ‫הגדה‬. We 3 winners were: Aharon Goldstein, Shmuel
learned in detail about baking ‫שמורה‬
Dorfman, Dovid Rafian
