Born the king of Angels.
From God our heav’nly Father O come, let us adore him,
A blessed angel came, O come, let us adore him,
And unto certain shepherds O come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord!
Brought tidings of the same,
How that in Bethlehem was born Child, for us sinners, poor and in the manger,
The son of God by name. Fain we embrace thee, with awe and love;
O tidings of comfort and joy, Who would not love thee,
Comfort and joy! Loving us so dearly?

Our dear friend,
Paul Evans

Paul was an inspirational philanthropist
and loyal supporter to Marie Curie.
Over the last 20 years his thoughtfulness
was embedded into all aspects of his life,
both personally and professionally. He set
a wonderful example of how to create and
sustain a meaningful relationship with a
charity that went beyond financial support.
We were enormously saddened by the
news of his death earlier this year, as
were his fellow Marie Curie Carols in the
City committee members. As a passionate
supporter of our work, and as a long
serving member of the Carols in the City
committee, Paul was very active amongst
his many colleagues and friends within the
‘relocation industry’ in persuading so many
to support our annual concert. Many have
continued to give their support this year –
Paul would have been delighted!
He is greatly missed by us all.

Help make the last
wishes of future
generations possible

With a gift in your Will, you can
leave the gift of a Marie Curie
Nurse, helping to fulfil someone’s
last wish in their final days.
You can ensure that more people
in the future receive the best
end of life care in their homes,
surrounded by all that is dear to
them. By including one last wish in
your Will – a gift to Marie Curie –
you can continue to touch the
lives of future generations.
