BOLYU Contract commercial carpets can be found in a variety of interiors such as: Scottrade’s corporate
offices, Barnes and Noble bookstores, Macy’s department stores, Jos. A. Bank retail shops and Cardinal
Health’s facilities.

Sustainability

All our broadloom and modular tiles are manufactured within the United States. BOLYU’s modular tiles are
100% PVC free and contain at least 40% post-consumer recycle content along with up to 30% pre consumer
recycle content. In 2013, our tile manufacturing process alone diverted over 30 million PET plastic bottles from
the landfill. We use 100% recyclable cardboard with 20% recycled content for our tile packaging. All our
broadloom and Nexterra tiles are manufactured in an EPA GreenPower Partner facility and we have been
purchasing green energy since 2008. Beaulieu actively recycles our office paper, cardboard, plastics,
aluminum, scrap metal, carpet remnants, yarn waste, shear lint and backing scraps. We are making a push to
be entirely landfill-free by 2015.
LEED credit is style specific depending which styles are ordered. Our Nexterra tiles have LEED credit available
for MR Credit 4 (Recycled Content), MR Credit 5.1 and 5.2 (Regional Materials), EQ Credit 4.1 (Low Emitting
Materials: Adhesives), EQ Credit 4.3 (Low Emitting Materials: Carpet Systems) and Innovation in Design SCAS
Credit (Sustainable Carpet Standard/NSF-140 Platinum).

extruded in our quality-controlled facilities. We developed these fibers specifically for commercial applications
with testing and quality protocols that meet or exceed industry standards. In addition to a palette with over
100 leading edge colors, Avalar® fibers provide performance and aesthetics necessary to fulfill the needs of
challenging commercial applications.
