The 26th INTIMA first call of action!

INTIMA EXCOs have donated some personal
hygiene products for the flood victims in
Shah Alam through a community that is
Somali Refugee at Kuala Lumpur on 8th of
January 2022.

In light of this natural disaster, many victims
have lost their belongings and homes. There
are a lot of organizations starting to help the
victims by donating some basic necessities.
Thus, INTIMA would also like to take this
chance to help and donate some items to the
flood victims. It is a good opportunity for us
to cultivate our kindness and to give back to
society with what we have.

We hope that everyone continues to have
the courage and strength to go through
these tough and challenging times.

Exhibition Week aims to expose students to
different clubs and societies in INTI. In this
event, students will be able to engage with
club committee members and gain
information about the various exciting
activities and events that clubs and societies
will have in store for the future.

Exhibition Week will allow students to
improve their communication skills, make
new friends from different types of
backgrounds, and they are also able to
explore their interests and hidden talents.
Apart from this, the event will inspire
students to start their own clubs or revive
previous existing clubs.

Moreover, this event also gives clubs and
societies the capability to promote their
upcoming events in which they can have
performances or activities. The performances
are also a part of the event that makes it
more festive and meaningul.

INTI Leadership Training Camp is an event
that is held to inspire and bring deeper
insights in leadership skills and abilities of
current and future leaders of clubs and
societies of INTI International University. The
event will be conducted face-to-face on May
23rd and 24th as a camping event where
participants will stay the night to participate
in the event fully from the start to end.

This event will also promote interaction,
collaboration and encourage discussions
among different clubs and societies. Not to
mention, a perfect opportunity to learn from
each other and to open up to their club
partners regarding any problems faced by
the clubs.

Nonetheless, INTI Leadership Training Camp
emphasizes on teamwork and togetherness.
As leaders or future leaders will have to
understand the true meaning of leadership.

“All good things must come to an end”

On the 6th and 7th of July, the 26th INTIMA
Student Government successfully brought
back INTIMA Week physically. INTIMA Week
is an event where the INTIMA Executive
Committee and Service Cell express their
appreciation towards the INTI community.

This years INTIMA Week was based of the
theme of 'Murder Mystery' where some of the
games were designed to tie into the theme.
During these 2 days, we had fun games,
refreshments, performances by our talented
INTIans and Clubs and Societies. Mini goodies
were handed out to all those that
participated in the event.

Student Forum is an event organized by
INTIMA Student Government each semester
to give a stage for students to give their
opinions, feedback, and questions for the
management of INTI International University.
In this particular event, students will meet
the top management, who will provide them
with the newest updates or information
regarding the facilities or services provided
by INTI IU.

A survey form has been given out to students
before the student forum, and this form
consists of the questions raised by students
of INTI IU. Using the survey handed out,
INTIMA will address the questions and
answers to the students and invite the
management related to the questions to
provide a clearer insight for the students.

Sports Fiesta 4th-6th October 2022 14

PAST EVENTS

Sport Fiesta is a three (3) days’ sports event which
will be held in INTI IU campus from 4 October 2022
to 6 October 2022 and is organised by 26th INTIMA
Student Government & Service Cell.

The main purpose of holding this event is to ensure
students’ physical and mental health. It also has
the opportunity to build students’ interpersonal
skills while competing and leading with others.
This event shows a great advantage to gain our
campus’s reputation to allow the public as well as
the sponsorships to get to know how active our
campus is and also allowing students to know
more about the clubs and societies better through
good sportsmanship.

Since in the last Sport Fiesta Events, several sport
clubs were involved in some of the sessions. The
past Sport Fiesta Events were only taken part by
students who were confident in their talents in the
particular sports would join in the tournaments
and it seemed unfair to the students who are not
interested in playing sports. Therefore, Sport Fiesta
for this year has brought in more elements so that
everyone can participate in different modes.
Action, Brainstorming and Relaxing. This event
welcomes all students from any semester.

Good Luck Finals is an event that is
hosted by INTIMA Executive Committees
as well as Service Cell to encourage and
motivate students during the exam
season. As we know, finals can be
stressful therefore we decided to relieve
some of the INTIans stress by giving out
free refreshments such as snacks and
sweets to cheer them on for their finals!

Some INTIans also left kind words of
motivation to cheer each other on during
this nerve-wrecking period. A total of 300
goodie bags were successfully given out.

INTIMA would like to show our support
towards all students and remind them
that even though studying hard is
important, don't forget to also take care
of your health and yourself!
