Have you tried creating a weeks worth of content in a
mornings work? Hopefully you're at that stage.

What you need to get into the habit of now, is creating a
months worth well in advance.

I suggest setting aside 1 day per month to review past post
performance, write new content and create new images,
which you will then schedule to the platforms.

Having all your content for next month ready by the 15th of
the current month should be your aim. Choose a Friday,
that's always a nice day to do this sort of thing - or even a
Sunday afternoon and evening.

Attempting to juggle all of your social media accounts can become tricky
and time consuming. It leaves you open to make simple mistakes like
forgetting a Tweet on a national awareness day or not posting for days.

Here are my favourite tools to help make life a little simpler...

Bitly does a lot more than just shortening links, it shows real time analytics
and has the ability to track clicks from each post or tweet.

Hootsuite is the most popular social media management tool for a reason.
Besides being able to execute content across up to ten social media
platforms from a super simple interface, you can also manage comments,
monitor conversations and measure campaign results. It's love.

Later.com will change your life. You can upload all your images to the
media library, create & save captions & hashtag lists, then cleverly drag &
drop to a monthly calendar. Your daily posts will be automatically published
to Instagram, complete with tagging & location settings too.

The single biggest help for managing multiple social media
accounts is the ability to access everything in one place. Whilst
there are a range of free scheduling tools allowing you to do so, I
highly recommend Later & Hootsuite. I have used these tools
since they each launched & can tell you that global brands use it
too.

Scheduling your content needs to become part of your monthly
routine. I set aside one day a month to create content (including
copywriting and design) and schedule it. This may seem a lot of
time, but trust me it saves time in the long run and once
complete you can tick it off your daily to do list. It's also the only
way you will be able to consistently serve your audience each
and every day with strong, appealing content.

BEING ACTIVE IN ONLINE
COMMUNITIES

Getting Started with Facebook Groups

Before getting started, you want to find which Facebook groups your ideal clients are active in. Here's how you can find
other Groups to be active in:
Type in keywords related to your niche in the Facebook search bar.
Go to the 'Groups' part of the search results.
Check each of the group descriptions to make sure your ideal clients are in those groups.
If they are, then join the groups.
Get familiar with the group and if it aligns with you and your ideal clients are in there, then you’re ready to go.
Introduce yourself & be active!
Chose 2-3 at a time, we don't want overwhelm!

Copyright © 2019 S L Social

Step One

Commit to posting in the groups 1-3 times per day.
These can include a combination of any of the following posts...
SELF PROMO > Tell people who you are, what you do, points of credibility & why you set out your business. Try & have
some fun & aim for others to be able to relate to you.
ENGAGING > Try & get a conversation going by asking a question...it can be as simply as Where do you live? or Tell me in
10 words or less what do you do?
VALUE ADD > This is the most important in my opinion. You want to show you're an expert, so give solutions to people's
problems & share resources that will help them out.

Copyright © 2019 S L Social

Step Two

Once you've been active & helpful for 1-4 weeks, you can start to offer your services - but carefully & only on promo days.
Give them a sneak peek of how you can help by introducing your offer. Be clear & tell them exactly what you want them
to do (i.e. book online, message your Page or comment to give permission for you to PM them).
I share links to simple landing pages that make it easy to either book a free 15 minute discovery call or view my online
courses that they can easily purchase in just one click.

Your Own Group

Creating your own Facebook Group is time consuming & takes effort & consistency, but can reap so many rewards.
The key thing is CONSISTENCY.
Even when you just have a handful of members, keep going! What helped me was setting a content theme for each day
of the week 1) so they knew what was coming & 2) so I could create content more quickly & schedule it a month ahead.
Monday > could be motivational (quotes etc.)
Wednesday > may offer the chance for members to share their Pages/Group
Friday > a fun day, so share something humourous
You then need to make sure you reply to every comment. Be supportive & take your time.
Keep going, it will pay off in time. I'm 3 years in but now see 70% of sales from my Group members.
