How to write a sentence.
Sentences
1. Start with a Capital.
The fish is small.
2. End with a full stop.
The whale is big.
3. Have finger spaces between words.

Subject and Predicate
a sentence has two parts : a subject
and a predicate.
SUBJECT
The naming part of a sentence. It
tells who or what the sentence is
about.
PREDICATE
It tells what the subject does. It is
the action part of the sentence.

The kids are eating lunch.
Underline the subject.
1. The dogs are sleeping in the living room.
2. A cat is sitting on the rug.

Underline the predicate.
