FOREWORD The International Creative Creators Playground@SSP 2024 (ICCP@SSP) makes its comeback this year. Hence, I would like to applaud the commendable efforts of Sekolah Seri Puteri for her commitment, dedication and hardwork in ensuring the success of this program every year. Well done! I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude for being able to deliver welcoming words in the International Creative Creators Playground@SSP 2024 (ICCP@SSP) Program Book. This year the themes are Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (SDG16) for Creative Category, and Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG11) for Creator Category. This will allow the participants to hone their potential as leaders who are highly skilled in technology and digital innovation with a first class mindset. Not only that, it is hoped that the participants will also improve their soft skills like teamwork and compassion as they do their projects. Therefore, we from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) truly give unwavering support to the organization of this event. In organizing this event, Sekolah Seri Puteri (SSP) has definitely exerted a lot of energy, commitment and dedication. This is portrayed in how determined they are to achieve their goals in moulding creative and innovative leaders which is in line with SBP’s vision of producing world-class leaders that needs to be supported by all parties. With the collaboration between UiTM and SSP, it is hoped that this will open up the participants’ minds and give exposure to any opportunities that are available in the field of technology, animation and programming. Thus, we always give unwavering support to SSP’s efforts in organizing this auspicious event. Last but not the least, I want to extend my congratulations to the organising committee for not only achieving success but also securing its lasting impact for future years. To all the participating teams, great job! Hopefully, this initiative will serve as a foundation for cultivating exceptional leaders, possessing resilience, creativity, innovation, and the capacity for critical and analytical thinking and action. Thank you. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shamila Mohamed Shuhidan, Chief Judge School of Information Science, College of Computing, Informatics and Mathematics, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia
FOREWORD The advent of the 4th industrial revolution has reshaped the global landscape and profoundly influenced the trajectory of future professions. The swift technological advancements characteristic of this revolution have unlocked unprecedented possibilities, propelling societal evolution to unprecedented heights. This evolution spans across advancements in the realms of physical, digital, and biological domains. For instance, automation technologies such as drones and robots are revolutionizing the physical realm, while augmented reality and digital virtual reality are transforming the educational landscape. Similarly, breakthroughs in physiological sensor technologies like the Apple Watch are reshaping the future of healthcare. These disruptive transformations are also reshaping the skillsets demanded by future careers. Without early exposure and training, today's students risk being left behind in the relentless wave of change. To foster students equipped with forward-looking abilities aligned with the demands of the 4th industrial revolution, the ICCP@SSP Competition is jointly organized by Sekolah Seri Puteri and Apple Professional Learning Malaysia. This collaborative initiative spearheaded by Apple aims to advance the educational ecosystem in Malaysia. Through this competition, students' imaginative capacities are encouraged and refined to promote creativity and innovation in learning. The competition employs immersive learning experiences facilitated by the integration of various Apple ecosystem applications. These include the Reality Composer for augmented reality material development, Clips for mixed reality video creation, Keynote for animated digital drawing, iMovie for CGI special effects film production, and Garageband for digital music composition. Centered on themes like No Poverty and Clean Water and Sanitation, the program provides students with opportunities to demonstrate problem-solving skills within contemporary societal contexts. This initiative nurtures students' future-oriented competencies, aligning with the skill requirements of the 4th industrial revolution across physical, digital, and biological domains. In conclusion, I extend my heartfelt best wishes to all participating teams. You represent the future of our nation, and I hope you persist in your endeavors to innovate and motivate others. Additionally, congratulations are in order for the organizers and the entire team for successfully bringing the ICCP@SSP 2024 competition to fruition. Thank you. Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Muhammad Helmi Norman, Apple Professional Learning Specialist, Apple Professional Learning Malaysia.
FOREWORD Assalamualaikum and greetings, Hats off to Sekolah Seri Puteri Cyberjaya for successfully hosting another International Creative Creators Playground@SSP2024, marking yet another significant milestone in turning this event into an international affair. We extend sincere appreciation to our esteemed partners, the Faculty of Information Management at Universiti Teknologi MARA and Apple Professional Learning Providers, for their invaluable collaboration in ensuring the success of this event. Their dedication has helped plant seeds of awareness about the tools necessary to achieve the UNESCO Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030 in the minds of our younger generation. This year, the program focuses on highlighting SDGs 11 and 16: Sustainable Cities and Communities and Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions respectively. The aim of SDG 11 is to create cities and human settlements that are inclusive, resilient, and sustainable, ensuring a high quality of life for all while minimizing environmental impact while SDG 16 recognizes that peace, justice, and strong institutions are essential for achieving sustainable development. It emphasizes the importance of promoting peaceful and inclusive societies, ensuring access to justice for all, and building effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions that uphold the rule of law and respect human rights. In line with SSP's mission to nurture world-class innovative leaders, it's vital to cultivate empathy and effective problem-solving skills among our future leaders from an early age. While academic qualifications are undoubtedly important, the unscripted lessons of life are equally significant and should be effectively integrated into education. In the age of digital advancements, particularly amid the peak of the COVID-19 crisis, modern communication has undergone substantial transformation, erasing geographical barriers and accelerating interactions. Proficiency in online tools has facilitated global educational partnerships, making them more reachable. It's time to surpass divisions based on ethnicity, race, and religion, and concentrate on shared objectives to safeguard the future of our younger generation's environment. Embrace collaborative endeavors, cultivate friendships, nurture solidarity, and broaden connections. Therefore, treasure this collective journey, and may the connections formed remain steadfast over time. Take pride in your cultural heritage and approach future endeavors with optimism. Once again, congratulations to SSP for the success of ICCP's fourth edition! Ab Aziz bin Mamat Director Fully Residential Schools Management Division Ministry of Education Malaysia
FOREWORD Assalamualaikum and greetings. Congratulations Sekolah Seri Puteri Cyberjaya for hosting yet another International Creative Creators Playground@SSP - the fourth instalment of SSP’s own international event. A heartfelt gratitude to the smart partners (Faculty of Information Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA and Apple Professional Learning Malaysia) for their collaboration in making this event a success; in turn taking the effort of sowing seeds into younger minds about the aids that would help to achieve UNESCO Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) by 2030. I would also like to convey my heartfelt appreciation to the engine that powers ICCP@SSP 2024 for their tireless grinding effort and time in ensuring that this event will have no wrinkles and hiccups. Since the inception of ICCP@SSP, in line with UNESCO SDGs, basic needs privileges are always highlighted. The idea of everybody enjoying the most basic of needs is always a concern, and the best place to start this awareness is from a very young age. Our participants for last year had dealt with these issues. This year, UNESCO SDG 11 and 16 are highlighted to theme this program. SDG 11, Making Cities and Human Settlements Inclusive, Safe, Resilient and Sustainable; whereas SDG 16, Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions are given the spotlight. With the satisfaction of basic needs, the community needs a guarantee of a peaceful and blissful quality of life - making sure that our livelihood is well protected and guarded. When accomplished, the world will be plotting its course towards utopia: the dream of all people. Academic qualification is undeniably important but the ‘unscripted’ lessons which follow closely should also be made efficacious. Aligned towards SSP’s catchphrase ‘producing world class innovative leaders’ we must not forget that leaders need empathy and also effective problem solving skills as well. Therefore, it is only proper and vital to start the younger generation thinking critically in their young age. The earth has been reduced in time and miles. We have Covid-19 to thank in the scenario of propelling the use of ICT to its full potential. That was what we thought but in actual, we have only awakened the sleeping giant. There are endless doors to be knocked upon and people from all over the world to be in communication with. Let us look beyond the boundary of ethnicity, race and religion. Try to find out the common goals in saving our home: for now and in the future. Enjoy the activities, friendship, camaraderie and networking. Value this experience and hopefully the fraternity lasts for a very long time. Be proud of your roots and prouder of what you have and will become. Once again, congratulations SSP for ICCP’s fourth outing. Until the 5th iCCP@SSP 2025 appointment, let’s celebrate the journey that had been taken and become a better human.
