LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Looking Forward

LAURIE WILHOIT Happy 2021 everyone! Although the holiday season looked different
for many of us this past year, we have so much to be grateful for in
President our lives. With the help of our amazing Philanthropy co-chairs: Patty
[email protected] Renz and Danielle Boreczky, we were able to provide Thanksgiving meals
and holiday gifts to many in need with your help. Thank you so much for
847-796-0232 your kindness and generosity.

This time of year we are in our scholarship mode. So many students are
in need of assistance to continue their education goals after high school.
If you can, please consider making a donation to CWC for our Service
Scholarships. Our committee interviews every student who completes the
application and awards to those who are making a difference. (See our
scholarship page on the website for last year’s recipients). For a
$1,000 donation we will name a scholarship after your family and/or
business. The “Company or Family Name” Scholarship would be
presented by CWC. Please consider making a lasting impression on a
child’s life and on your legacy. We did this in memory of my father a few
years back and it was so wonderful! Please contact me or Pamela Coleman
([email protected]) with any questions. All
monetary donations will receive a tax receipt.

We are also looking for new people to be co-members on our board. Most
of our positions are shared so all the responsibility does not fall onto one
person. After serving as President for CWC for the past 5 years, I will be
stepping down this year, but I look forward to continuing to stay active with
CWC.

Again, thank you for your continued generosity as we strive to make a
positive difference Spreading Kindness in our community.
