LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Season of Thanks

LAURIE WILHOIT Each year our Love Fund Auction is a great time of coming together
President and connecting with friends and members to raise money for our
community. While the format this year was a little different, it was still

With the holiday season approaching, it is MORE IMPORTANT THAN
EVER to support our corporate members and those who donated to the
Love Fund Auction. By continuing to support these vendors in our community
with your patronage during this challenging time, together we are helping
all women and children most in need who rely on the resources their
donations provide. A list of donors (with links) can be found on our website.

As the weather gets cooler, please remember we are in contact with shelters
and programs that are in need of our help—now more than ever the numbers
of people needing assistance is growing. We are working with the shelters
to provide Thanksgiving meals for families. We are hoping to provide
food for many, and your donation can help. See page 5 for details.

Giving Tuesday is coming on Dec. 2 and we hope that you will keep CWC
among the charities you support. Please remember that we have no paid
staff and the money donated to CWC goes directly to people in need. If
you are able to help us in our mission of helping women and children in
need in Lake County, please do. Checks are preferred, and credit cards are
accepted through our website.

We wish you a wonderful Holiday Season, and hope you stay in touch on
our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/CaringWomensConnection),
and/or through our emails (sign up for emails on our website) and website,
