My heartiest congratulations to MRSM Tun Abdul Razak being selected to be the host of a programme with such magnitude, for the year 2023. The theme Pearls of Leadership Wisdom is undeniably accurate for this year's Global Leadership Summit & Homeroom Colloquium Programme as we have seen first-hand that 21st century education is becoming more global and essential. It is hoped that this programme will nurture future leaders who are creative, innovative and charismatic. Hence, students should have the willingness to explore and discover new knowledges and insights to consolidate mastery in any chosen field. Having a programme which prioritises students' development is crucial in order to achieve a generation of students who can apply the inter-disciplinary skills and knowledge they acquire, not only for their own advantage, but also for others. Our nation needs competent leaders who are equipped with mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, intellectual and social maturity in navigating the countless challenges we have and will have had in the future. To conclude, I am convinced that every student who is chosen to take part in this year's Global Leadership Summit & Homeroom Colloquium Programme is highly driven and committed to put forth ideas and resolutions which would bring about positive impacts on others. I am profoundly impressed by Majlis Amanah Rakyat's (MARA) initiative to focus on these vital competencies through the Global Leadership Summit & Homeroom Colloquium MRSM Se- Malaysia Programme (Eastern Zone) 2023, hosted by MRSM Tun Abdul Razak in Pekan, Pahang. I recognise that the homeroom system, a distinctive and valuable component of the MRSM Curriculum, has been a foundational element since the institution's inception. It plays a crucial role in moulding the personality and identity of MRSM students, preparing them to excel as the best version of themselves upon graduation. The integration of the homeroom system with the academic curriculum has ensured its continued relevance and effectiveness over the years. The Global Leadership Summit (GLS), as its name suggests, provides an invaluable platform for students, particularly those in leadership roles, to engage in idea exchange and gain insights crucial for their development as the next generation of leaders. The fusion of the GLS with the Homeroom Colloquium MRSM Se-Malaysia this year, encompassing a range of stimulating competitions, is set to offer a beneficial and influential experience for students from all 14 MRSMs in the Eastern Zone. This event is an outstanding opportunity for idea exchange and skill development. I encourage all participants to seize this chance to demonstrate their capabilities, forge new friendships, and embrace a culture of innovation. Badan Kepimpinan dan Homeroom adalah suatu elemen yang penting dalam sistem pendidikan di Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM). Program ini bertujuan memberi ruang kepada Badan Kepimpinan Pelajar (BKP) MRSM Se-Malaysia bertukar-tukar pendapat, berdiskusi serta melahirkan pemimpin masa depan yang kreatif, inovatif dan berkarisma. Homeroom ialah sebahagian daripada kurikulum MRSM yang telah diperkenalkan sejak awal penubuhannya. Konsep Homeroom yang berteraskan keusahawanan dan Pendidikan Global juga kekal relevan sebagai medium membentuk nurani pelajar seiring dengan peredaran zaman. OBJEKTIF PROGRAM
DISKRIPSI LOGO Gading gajah serta warna kuning melambangkan simbolik MRSM Tun Abdul Razak yang berada di Pekan Bandar Diraja yang terletak dalam Negeri Pahang. Sepasang gading gajah menjadi simbol kekuatan seekor gajah secara simboliknya menunjukkan Homeroom dan Kepimpinan telah lama menjadi asas kepada model pembinaan modal insan di MRSM. Warna biru melambangkan kesetiaan dan kepercayaan serta keteguhan peribadi yang ingin dicapai dalam pembinaan karakter pelajar MRSM amnya dan pemimpin pelajar khasnya.
