Tonight is your night. It is the culmination of your time together through the 2022-2023 Cotillion activities. The theme “Purposely Embracing Academics, Reliability, Leadership & Success” is quite appropriate for such intelligent and talented young women. You have impressed us with your drive and your promise, as current and future leaders of your schools and our communities. We have been blessed by our interaction with you, your parents and marshals. We are extremely honored to present you to the Lancaster Community, at our Debutante Cotillion. It is our sincere desire that this experience has provided you with opportunities to grow and develop culturally, educationally and personally. We hope that you will treasure the new friendships and relationships that you have formed over the last eight months. May you continue to grow, mature and meet future opportunities just as you have enthusiastically embraced the Cotillion activities during this season. It has been my honor to observe the 2023 LHS PEARLS Debutantes growth into such beautiful young ladies. This distinguished group of students have made the decision to stand out from their peers and to be change agents in their school, home, and community. It is my hope that by participating in this program they were able to glean skills that they will be able to use for a lifetime. Our debutantes are resilient young ladies who have continually persevered and remained engaged through the challenges of this year. Taylor Adams is the daughter of Christie and Jamal Adams, and the sister to Jamal Adams Jr. Taylor has spent her time in high school as part of the Early College Program and will graduate with her Associates of Science later this month. Taylor has been a member of the Student Council for four years, she joined after drawing inspiration from her older brother who also graduated from Lancaster High School in 2020. Over these past four years, Taylor has advocated for student education by working hand in hand with advocacy and student-led groups like the Texas Student Voice Coalition where she worked on passing a bill to the Texas Legislature. She is also a member of the City of Lancaster Youth Advisory Committee and a member of the Girls’ Soccer Team. Taylor is in the top 1% of her class, currently sitting at #7 of 472. DEBUTANTE TAYLOR ADAMS Taylor is committed to Texas A&M University where she will be pursuing a degree in Biochemistry in the coming fall of 2023 on a full ride scholarship. She is interested in pursuing biotechnology and ways to ethically treat and develop cures for diseases and illnesses. Taylor also hopes to conduct research during and after undergrad specifically into cancer research- gaining inspiration from her late Grandmother Justine Adams and her Grand Aunt Neida Allen. Taylor is escorted by Jamal Adams and Lancaster High School Junior Beau, Brendon Daniels.
Debutante Sasha Kamyle Brown is the daughter of Sidney Brown and Caronda Brown. During Sasha's four years at Lancaster High School, she has maintained a GPA of 3.7 and above. This year, Sasha was voted as Miss LH S 2023. She will be graduating under the Distinguished program in the Top 13% of her class. Very active on campus, she currently serves as the Senior Class President, and a member of the National Honor Society. She is a part of the Lancaster Varsity Choir, which is under the direction of Dr Cornileus Roberson, currently a choir assumable state finalist, and will be heading to state for such. In her spare time she loves to volunteer for different organizations inside and outside of school which allows her to give back to the community. Sasha is an active member of the audio and visual production team on campus. In which, she enjoys doing sports journalism for the sports teams around campus, Sasha also leads the Senior class with 31 acceptances, and over 800,000 worth of scholarship money. DEBUTANTE SASHA BROWN She enjoys being a social butterfly and hanging around people, listening to music, especially 90s R&B, and just overall enjoying being the light in people’s life. After graduating from high school, Sasha will attend Tuskegee University on a full ride and majoring in Mass Communications Journalism with a minor in Marketing. Debutante Sasha Brown is being escorted by her Marshall, Sidney Brown and Beaux, Jadan C. Hairston who is a senior at Lancaster High School. He is the son of Jeremy and Tiffany Hairston and plans to attend Texas A&M University - Commerce and will major in Education.

Debutante Jada Collins is the daughter of Avis and Kathell Collins, as well as the bonus daughter of Patricia Collins. Throughout her four years of secondary school, she participated in the early college program, earning an associate's degree in science. Jada has been a member of the Tigerettes for two years and is presently active in the National Honor Society. Jada has maintained staying in the top 5% of her class with a GPA of 5.18. She will attend Prairie View A&M University in the fall of 2023 because it is her ideal college. Her interest in becoming a psychologist stems from the fact that technology has woven psychology into the fabric of our country and that it plays a complex part in the larger universe. Her passion is to use psychology as a tool to lead her and help with the mark she plans to leave on humanity. She works to bring about psychological change in order to foster development in young people. DEBUTANTE JADA COLLINS Marshall Kathell Collins, and Lancaster High School senior Beau Kamron AnNoor are escorting Debutante Jada Collins. Kamron AnNoor's parents are Kimberly Jackson and Kareem AnNoor. In the fall of 2023, Kamron AnNoor intends to enroll at the University of North Texas in Denton to study visual arts and designs.
