❑ read lists of codes for timetable for burning fuels and shifts
❑ read messages about errors on furnace's log
❑ read work schedules

Occasionally Furnaceman will
❑ check the rules and regulations in the furnaceman's handbook
❑ read training materials and any kind of learning activities
❑ read technical manuals
❑ read the information on accepting fuels
❑ read safety instructions and procedures for safe work
❑ read the quality manual on internet and link it to existing regulations
❑ read any work-related information
❑ read regulations on burning process and rest period or shifts

Writing

On a daily basis the Furnaceman will
❑ log his own shift
❑ register accepted goods and orders
❑ log settlement

Regularly the Furnaceman will
❑ log technical problems and faults for the furnace
❑ report on events to superiors
❑ write information tags for the technicians to fix the furnace

Occasionally Furnaceman will
❑ report and document damage to furnace, the stock or people
❑ repport and document technical problems
❑ forward complaints from people working at that building

❑ write notes and assignments connected to training

Oral skills

On a daily basis the Furnaceman will
❑ announce re-filling of the furnace
❑ take instructions and give explanations to the supervisors

❑ resolve problems with the other furnacemen

❑ read and evaluate numerical information from the dashboard
❑ ensure that the furnace keeps working as scheduled

Regularly the Furnaceman will

❑ calculate the time when the furnace needs re-fill
❑ check the pressure on the furnace panel and if neccessary take immediate action
❑ read and consult timers
❑ consider the height and lenght of the building for fuel usage

❑ assess and report technical faults
❑ calculate working and resting periods

❑ read the instruments on digital displays
❑ log his own shift digitally
❑ use digital cards to operate the furnace panel

Regularly the Furnaceman will
❑ use a remote app to check the stability of the furnace panel
❑ provide accounts through digital services

❑ send messages to collegues or superiors
