Export

Click "Export the bookmark" to export the Table of Contents
and save it as a TXT file.

Import

Click "Import the bookmark" to import a Table of Content
(the TXT file you exported before).

Delete

Click the "Delete" button to delete a selected index.

Besides, you can customize title and set internal page link
for the index so when readers click the index, they can jump
to specific page. And you can even input a URL to direct
readers to a webpage.

You preview the Table of Contents in the preview window
immediately.

Assistant

Assistant feature allows you to convert text content into
audio. And then the cartoon figure will voice over the
content synchronously with the scrolling text. You can add
different audio to each page.

Each template contains multiple themes in different styles.
You can select a theme for the digital content after choosing
a template for it.

Click "record settings" icon to enter into Record Audio
interface.

Or you can click the inverted triangle icon to import an audio
file directly.

In the Record Audio window, input "Audio Text" for each
page (or each two pages), select a Text-to-Speech engine,
and then click "Generate audio". After generating, you can
click "Play audio" to test the audio clip. And you can also
choose "Import audio from existing file" to apply existing
audio directly.

Plugin

Once you enable the Plugin feature, you can click the Plugin
tab, and you will see the below interface.

Double click to choose a plugin for your flip book, for
example, "bubble-banner", then the "Plugin Settings"
window will pop up.

After you edit the plugin, click "Apply". And you will see the
plugin in your flip book.

Design Settings

The design setting tab contains 3 sections: Tool Bars
Settings, Flash Display Settings and Flash Control
Settings.
After you select a template and a theme, you can customize
the flip book based on the template. And there are multiple
templates and themes for you to choose, with a variety of
custom settings.

Note:
(1) Different template provides different settings that can
help you make the flipbook unique. You may not find some
settings in one template while they are available in another
template. Below description is mainly based on Neat
Template.

Design Settings - Tool Bar Settings

Bar Color

You can click the Bar Color column to select a background
color for the toolbar of your flip book.

Bar Background File

Apart from color, you can also add an image or SWF file and
use it as the background for the toolbar. The image or SWF
will resize proportionally to fit the tool bar automatically.

Bar Transparent

Select "Yes" to make the toolbar transparent and only show
the icons in the bar.

Bar Bevel

If you enable the Bar Bevel, you will see a dividing line
shows up between each 2 adjacent buttons. But if you want
the bar bevel visible, you have to make sure the bar is not
transparent.

Title Bar

Select an image or an SWF file to use as the book logo. The
logo icon will show in the toolbar (shows on the top or
bottom according to the template you choose), and the logo
height is fixed to 55 pixels while the width will be adjusted
according to the scale. In addition, you can input a website
link for the logo and once the readers click the logo, they
will be directed to your website or other web page.

Button Bar

Home Button

Select “Show” to add a home button so readers can

click it to jump to your website directly.

About Button

You can show the About button and then add About and
Contact info of you or your company.

And when readers click the About icon , they can view
your About and Contact info.

Full Screen Button

Select "Show" in "Full Screen Button" option to show the
"Full Screen" icon in the output flipbook. And once the book
is published, readers can click the Full Screen icon to

view flipbook in Full Screen. And they can exit from full
screen by clicking the Exit Full Screen icon or "Esc"
button.

Full Screen with keyboard input

If you select “Yes” for this setting, readers are able to type
characters with keyboard in full screen mode.
Note: If Flash Player is lower than 11.0, it won’t allow input
anything with keyboard even though you enable this setting.

Help Config

Select "Show" in "Full Screen Button" option to show the
"Full Screen" icon in the output flipbook. And once the book
is published, readers can click the Full Screen icon in the

navigation bar, they will see the same Help page in pop-up
window.

Print Config

Once you select "Yes" for the "Print Enable" option, readers
can click the print icon in the navigation bar, they will
see the same Help page in pop-up window.

You can also add an image or SWF file for the "Print
Watermark File" section. And when the pages are printed,
there will be a watermark on these printed pages.

Download Setting

Once you click the square icon, you will see the pop-up
Download Setting dialog box, as below shows

Click the "Browse" icon to add your PDF file or input
Download URL directly (e.g.,
http://www.anyflip.com/example/demo.pdf). You can also
set prefix to enable readers to download one single page of
the PDF file. And after your publish the flipbook online,
readers can click the Download icon to download the PDF
file.

Sound

It’s very easy to add background music for your flipbook.
Select "Enable Sound->Enable", then click icon to choose
"Sound File" (*.mp3) from your computer.
Sound Loops: Set "-1" to play the background music all the
time. Set N (N>0): Play N times then stop.
Sound Volume: Set the volume of the background music.
Set -1 to use the default volume. The value should be
between 0 and 100 and 0.3 is recommended.
Flip Sound Volume: Set the volume of page flipping sound
when the book is flipping. Set -1 to use the default volume.
The value should be between 0 and 100 and 0.2 is
recommended.

Document Mode

Document Mode (in Neat Template) is actually Zoom Config
in other templates. Once you enable this option, readers can
click the Zoom In icon to zoom in the flipbook page for
better view and they can resize the page in scale by

adjusting the zoom bar (click "-" to

decrease scale, click "+" to increase scale, click the "Palm"

icon to enable/disable Drag N Drop to move the page) or the

original page size by clicking the Zoom Out icon .

Besides, you can define other settings for the Zoom
function:

Show by default: Show the Zoom bar when the book loads
or opens.

Minimum zoom width: Define the minimum width for the
zoom range.

Maximum zoom width: Define the maximum width for the
zoom range.

Double Page Mode: Once you enable this option, it will
show 2 pages in zoom status. Otherwise, it will show only 1
page.

Search

If you enable the Search option in "Import PDF" interface,
you can enable this Search button to allow readers to search
the content within your flipbook. Select "Search Highlight
Color" and set least search characters for the Search option.
And if you enable "Restrict the Result" option, search results
will only display pages that contain ALL the keywords
readers have input.
After you publish the book, readers can click the "Search"
icon and input search words in the popup Search panel
to get search results.

Share

a. Share Button (via Email)

Select "Show" to enable the "Share Button" and readers can
click the Share icon to share your flipbook via Email. And
you can define Email subject and Email Body (the URL of
your flipbook after uploaded online).
P.S.: You should make sure the URL is the exact link to the
flipbook after you upload to your server.

b. Social Share
Social Share feature allows your flipbook to be shared on
Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google, Yahoo and other social
networks. One can share the flipbook on share channels
simply by clicking the "Social Share" button.

Language

You can select language for the prompts and the toolbar
buttons. Click "…" to enter into "Language Settings"
interface. What’s more, you can select multiple languages
for the flipbook and then select "Yes" in the "Switchable"
option. Your readers can click "Switch Language" icon to
choose their preferred language.

Auto Flip

If you want to make your flipbook turn page automatically,
you can set "Yes" in "Auto Flip->Enable" option; then define
the Flip Interval (seconds of staying on each page); Play
Count (times of auto play; set "-1" to enable auto play till
the book is closed or when auto play is stopped. If you want

the flipbook to auto start when it is opened, just select "Yes"
for "Auto flip when start up" option.

Add Annotations

Annotation feature enables readers to take notes on your
books while they are reading. You can set "Add Annotation-
>Enable". When readers view your book on computer, they
can click "Add Annotation" icon to add text note,
highlight pages with brush, draw rectangle or ellipse on
anywhere of your book pages. If they open the book next
time, they can view the comments, or delete as they want.

Bookmark Button

Enable the Bookmark button so readers can click the
Bookmark icon to add bookmark to each page of the
flipbook.

Backward Button

Once you show the Backward button, readers can click the
Backward icon to go back to the previous pages (before
current page) they viewed last time. For example, if they
flipped to Page 3 (currently Page 4), they can click the

Backward icon to return to Page 3. If they flipped to
Page 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (currently Page 8), they can click the
Backward icon to return to Page 7; and click Backward icon
again, return to Page 6; again, to Page 5, and so on.

Forward Button

Once you show the Forward button, readers can click the
Forward icon to go to the following pages (after current
page) they viewed last time. For example, if they flipped to
Page 8 (currently Page 7), they can click the Forward

icon to return to Page 8. If they flipped to Page 8, 7, 6,

5, 4 (currently Page 3), they can click the Backward icon to

return to Page 4; and click Backward icon again, return to

Page 5; again, to Page 6, and so on.

Copy Text

Once you enable Search and this Copy Text feature at the
same time, your readers can use CTRL + C key
combinations to copy the text of the PDF flipbook directly.

Button Icons

You can change the color for the button icons. This includes
2 types of icons: feature icons (icon) on toolbar and page
turn icons (big icon) on left and right sides of the flipbook.
In addition, you can replace the current icons with your own
custom icon files.

After you choose a template for the flip book, you can make
your flip book more beautiful and diversified by choosing a
theme.

Background

There are multiple built-in backgrounds for you to choose,
just double click to apply them to your flip book directly.

Besides, you can click "Add New" button to add local image

Scenes

The scene feature can make your flip book more attractive
and lively with animated background or animation. There are
many pre-designed scenes for you to choose and use
directly, such as Autumn Leaves, Beach Beauty, Desert,
Moon, Underwater World, Grassland, Snow, Clouds, etc.

You can easily apply the scenes to the book with double
click, or you can set your own style scene by setting "SWF"
format background image in "Design Setting" part.

What's more, you can click "Add New" to select a local SWF
file as the scene.

Click the template icon to open the Template window. And
then you can select a template from built-in templates.

Language

Click the "Language" icon to open the Language Settings

flipbook.

Select all

AnyFlip provides 17 default languages for you to choose for
the flipbook tips and buttons, including: English, Chinese
(Traditional), French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic,
Chinese, Dutch, Greek, Hebrew, Indonesian, Japanese,

Persian, Romanian and Russian. You can select multiple
languages at the same time so readers can switch to
preferred language while reading the flipbook. Of course,
you can check this option to select or deselect all languages.

Set as default

You can create a new language edition by directly copy an
existing version if you can't find your local language or the
language you want in the list. To be specific, you can click
the New Language button, input the language name and
then select a language to copy in the pop-up window.

Move up

This setting allows you to bring the selected language
upwards.

Move down

This setting allows you to bring the selected language
downwards.

Create new

Click "Create a new language" and you will see the pop-up
New Language dialog. And then you can define the name for
the new language. If you don’t want to create the new
language from scratch, you can copy a language from the
existing ones and edit the new language.

Remove selected

If you don't need a language in the list and want to delete it,
you can select it and click this "Remove the selected
language" icon to remove it from the list.

Save as

You can save the language as an XML file and then import it
for future use.

Load

If you saved a language file before, you can import it for
direct use.

Edit

Once you open the Language window, you will see 2
columns: Label and Labeled.
Label: the language string set by our software engineers,
this is written in English and it shows what this means in
English.

Labeled: the language string that can be edited by users
and this is the display caption for the flipbook prompts.
After you select a language, select an item in the right panel
and click the "Edit" icon (or you can double click the item) to
open the Edit Language Item dialog, and then you can edit
the string in the Labeled column. And after you edit the
item, click "Save And Edit Next" to edit next item or click
"OK" to close the edit dialog.

Reset

You can recover all the edit settings of a selected language
by clicking the "Reset" icon.

Page Manager

Page Manager feature helps you to manage all pages of your
book: add page, delete page, re-arrange pages and change
page view mode, or close the Page Manager panel. Besides,
you can double click the page in the Page Manager panel to
turn pages while designing your flip book.

But if your PDF doesn't contain TOC, you can create one
manually. It’s easy to add, delete, edit and re-arrange the
title and index. And with just a few clicks, you can create a
multi-level custom Table of Contents for the flipbook
publication.

Add new page

Click the "Add" icon to add PDF page(s), SWF(s) or image(s)
and use as flip book new page(s). And you can insert the
new page to any position.
