Christmas Messages from GreenEarth Community 2018

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord… Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into His
presence with singing… We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter

His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise!
Give thanks to Him; bless His name!

PSALM 100

In this most blessed of seasons wherein we commemorate our Lord and

Saviour’s birth, we celebrate His goodness through you.

We chose the theme of music this year because we wanted to share with

you that because of the generous gift of musical instruments from our donors,

as well as the kind partnership of Christian missionaries who have been based in
San Miguel, Bulacan and who are coming in our mission field week after week,

many of our children have learned to play musical instruments and we saw

budding talent in some of them. Our kids are now playing the guitar, keyboard,
drums and other instruments.

It is indeed a year to a MAKE JOYFUL NOISE UNTO THE LORD!

We are so proud of our Homeschoolers!

They have each worked very hard to improve their

handwriting this year.

Our Middle School and High School beneficiaries

are not part of the Homeschool program.

How we wish we had more resources to be able to give them high

quality education at the farm,

so that they will no longer have to walk for three hours roundtrip in

order to attend the nearest public school.

But the Lord has been faithful to take good care of them despite it

all.

To my beloved donors,
DF
Come, let us sing for joy to
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR! the LORD; let us shout aloud to

the Rock of our salvation.
Thank you very much for being such a big blessing to us. I thank God for
Psalms 95:1
using you to bless us!

I would like to share with you that I am really happy with my studies. I am
now a Grade 11 student at John J Russell Memorial High School. My big
blessings is this school year I became TOP 1 in our class!

Also, I’m very grateful to be part of the music ministry here at GreenEarth. I

sing and now play guitar for the Lord because of Christian mission workers
who have been teaching us at the farm. What a joy to serve Him with all my

heart! I am very thankful that He has given me talents that I can use to serve
and bless others. Teacher Kathleen also said I am outstanding in art.

I hope that you will really have a meaningful time with your family this
Christmas season. Please know that I am always praying for you and your

family.

God bless and I love you!

Love,

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Psalms 150:4-5
I pray that your 2019 will be full of good memories and meaningful
experiences.

I thank God that He allowed me to experience a lot of new things this year.

Our foundation sent us to a Summer Youth Camp in Bicol last April and this
was most memorable for me. I really learned a lot about God. The pain in my

heart was replaced with His love. I learned to forgive.

I also discovered that I have a talent in playing drums this year! Praise GOD

for our Christian missionaries teaching us here. I’m glad that God is using me
to bless others by playing drums during our worship services.

Thank you for all your support. You are always in my prayers. I know that
God will bless you more.

I pray that someday I can also help other people.

Much love,

To my dear donors and sponsors,

Thank you for never giving up in helping and supporting me.

I’m excited to share with you that this year, I ranked number 1 in

my class. First time ever! God is just amazing! I couldn’t do it
without His help and guidance. We are thanking to our Teachers

Marl and Kathleen who are tutoring us at the farm.

Thank God for using you to bless others!

I pray that you will have wonderful memories with your family as

you celebrate Christmas this year.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

May you and your family be filled with joy as you celebrate this beautiful
season.

I am always thankful to God that He uses you to help a child like me.

This year I learned more things in school. “You can do what they can do.”

This adage taught me to be brave. But I always have to remember that I
can do nothing apart from God. I can do all things only through Him. This

year I surrendered my life to Jesus. I accepted Him as my personal Lord
and Savior.

This year, God surprised me. I ranked number 5 in our class. It was God
who helped me to have this achievement, along with our teachers here at

the farm who help us in so many ways.

Please know that I always pray for you and your family.

Much love,

hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing To my dearest sponsors and donors,

Lord” Merry Christmas!
Ephesians 5:19
Thank you so much for your support and love. I am very blessed to have you.

Time flies so fast. I am now in Grade 11 at John J. Russell Memorial High School. This
year was tough as I moved to this new school. I have to walk once again 3 kilometers

every day just to go to school but God has been faithful, He didn’t let anything bad
happen to me.

This year, I also made it to the top of my class!

I would also like to share that this year I learned how to play a keyboard. Then I
became a part of the Music Ministry here at GreenEarth. I am so happy that through
this, I can glorify Him more. All of these have been made possible because people who
love the LORD have been patiently teaching us.

Again, MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your family! You are
always in my prayers.

May God continue to bless you and your family!

Sending love and kisses,

To my dearest donors,

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

This is the perfect time to give thanks and sing praises
to God for all His wonderful acts all throughout the
year. Thank you so much for being mightily used by
God as channels of His overflowing blessings.

As this year comes to a close, allow me to share some
updates about myself this year.

For the second straight year, I was recognized as one
of the outstanding students in my university. This is
given to students who have Latin honours for two
consecutive semesters. To God be all the glory!

Also, I was given a chance to represent the Philippines
in the Asia Youth International Model United Nations,
an international debate and conference in Bangkok,
Thailand. This was also my first airplane ride and out-
of-the-country experience.

All of these things would not have been possible if not
for your faith and generosity! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and
your family. May this season be filled with love, joy
and peace!

With much gratitude,

“Sing to Him; yes, sing
His praises. Tell Gerald Lazaro
everyone about His 4th Year, BSBA, major in Financial Management
wonderful deeds.”
Psalms 105:2 University of the East – Manila

To my dearest donors,

Thank you for being my answered prayer this
year—I constantly thank the LORD for
providing through YOU!.

Let me share some updates about myself.

My new “toy” at the Conservatory is my
saxophone! Thanks to two donors of

GreenEarth who bought it for me and
handcarried it all the way from the USA!
Through hard work and faith, I have learned to

play 5 songs now very well.

All this I owe to the Father. Glory be to God.

I wish you a blessed Christmas and a

prosperous New Year.

To my dearest donors,

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

This day is the day that the Lord has made! Let us sing praises and give
thanks for His love for us.

Before this year comes to an end, allow me to share what I have learned
all throughout the year.

This year, I was given a chance to serve in the Student Council at De La
Salle Araneta University - Agrivet Sciences Institute as a First Year
representative.

This year, my appreciation of the importance of agriculture in our lives

was deepened. I was also tasked to determine the needs of the crops
and monitor the life cycle of plants in the Department of Vegetation. I
pray that I will apply into practice every lesson I learned.

These learnings and experience could not be possible without your
generous heart. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for believing in my future.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! May the goodness of the Lord
be with you and your family always.

To my dearest donors,

A BLESSED CHRISTMAS!

Thank you so much my beloved donorsyou’re your
continued and faithful support to us all! May the
blessing and goodwill of te Lord remain with you

always!

This year brought me a lot of learnings as a DLSAU
scholar. Life here is not easy but by the grace of God

and by your support -- I have survived. Allow me to
share with you this quotation I personally like ,
“when you do things the easy way, your life will be
difficult, but when you do things the difficult way

your life will be easy.”

May the meaningful spirit of Christmas fill your day

with love!

To my dearest benefactors,

A joyous Christmas!

This is the best time to give thanks to God for all the

blessings He continuously gives.

Let the Spirit of love gently fill our hearts and

homes. In this loveliest season, may you find many
reasons to be joyful.

One of my most memorable academic experiencsse
took place this past summer when DLSAU sent us to
Central Luzon State University, one of the biggest

universities in Central Luzon which has an expertise
in Agriculture. There we were given a training
program under the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic
Recourses, Philippine Carabao Center and Small
Ruminants Center. I very much enjoyed this.

Without your help I cannot experience these things.
Thank God for using as His channel of blessing.

Love, joy and peace.

Dear Kind Donors:

Warmest Christmas greetings!

This year, I thoroughly enjoyed our OJT
immersion at various sites such as the

Philippine Carabao Center, the Small

Ruminant Center and the Bureau of

Aquatic Resources on buffalo and goat

milk production as well as the very

intriguing concept of “milking fish”.

Thank you very much for helping us with

our living expenses at DLSAU. May the

Good Lord return your kindness many

times over. I wish you and your family a

joyous Christmas and a New Year filled

with hope and peace.

Sincerely,

Surely your goodness and love will
follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of
the LORD forever.
Psalm 23:6

To my dearest donors,

When I think about God’s goodness, I am reminded of you—
your thoughtfulness, kindness and generosity. I am

reminded of the many times that you believed in me even
when I did not believe in myself. If not for your collective

efforts, your time, and your prayers, I would not be where I
am today, and for that I am eternally grateful.

Words cannot even express how much of a life-changing
experience being at Harvard is this year. It is such an

inspiring place to be.

In the few months that I’ve been here, I have come to

believe that what makes Harvard Harvard is not the facilities,
the resources nor the millions of books—they are barely

touched. What makes it Harvard is its highly diverse
community of students, all of whom are unique and are

constantly hungry for knowledge.

I am fascinated by how every class discussion is filled with a

multitude of ideas and opinions, leaving me always in a state
of reflection and awe even outside the classroom. I always

find myself spending extra hours with my professors outside
of class, asking more questions and sharing my ideas.

Harvard instills in oneself a sense of unquenchable thirst for
knowledge and wisdom.

I do understand, however, that while it is important to be knowledgeable about a wide range of things, what will matter in
the end is my ability to apply all of that I’ve learned in real life. For that, I am so blessed to have you as my model and

inspiration. Your selflessness is admirable. Every time I remember all that you have done for me and my beloved community, I

am motivated to grow even more in knowledge, not for the sake of becoming a detached intellectual, but for the sake of
gaining a deeper understanding of myself and the society I am a part of, so that I can be of help one day.

This Christmas, I remember and praise God for your gift of a brighter future and of inspiration to be the best person I can be.

As you celebrate this season, may your home be filled with God’s love, joy and peace. May the New Year be a year of
blessings and a year of good health.

You are always in my thoughts and prayers.

To my dearest benefactors,

Greetings of a very blessed holiday season!

God is so good and worthy to be praised! Another year
has passed and so many things happened over the year.

My breaking news!

I graduated from BS Accountancy at the University of
the East! Five years of challenges and trials have borne
great fruit. Praise God for His kindness, grace and
mercy! My heart overflows with joy!!! Enormous thanks
to you for partnering with me in my journey of faith.

Wishing you a joyous holiday season! ! May He grant you
all the desires of your heart and things that money

cannot buy—good health and long life!

A blessed Christmas to you and your loved ones.

Much love and prayers,

Dearest Kind Donors,

He has done marvelous things”
A joyous day to you! Psalm 98:1

As we rejoice and celebrate this wonderful season of Christmas, I would

like to express my deepest thanks to you for coming into my life.

Who would have thought that a daughter of a tricycle driver and a rags
maker is now the FIRST college graduate in the family and serving now

as a breadwinner? I would be celebrating my two years as a working

professional this January. Time flies so fast. Glory to God!

In addition, I would like to share with you that my biggest news this year
is I had my FIRST ever International trip and FIRST airplane ride
experience this year. This past November, I accompanied our Farm
Manager and Site Administrator to the Taiwan Agriculture Forum held in
Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It was an eye-opening experience. Indeed, God will
take you to places you have never imagined of.

All thanks to the Living God. These blessings are all because of Him. And
you have become part of my amazing journey. I will not be where I am
now if not for your trust and support in me. THANK YOU for letting me
LIVE, HOPE and DREAM.

May your hearts be filled with peace and faith in God. May your days of
doubt be replaced with days of hope. May you and your family get
nurtured with lots of love!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

To my beloved sponsors,

Season's Greetings!

I would like to send you my warmest thanksgiving for all your unwavering support and prayers! God never fails to show
his unfailing love through your compassionate hearts and relenting spirit!

This year has been the best year of my life! Why? Because I have known God into a new level for which I will be truly
grateful to my GreenEarth Family!

“My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you.” - Job 42:5

A lot of unforeseeable circumstances this year have broken my heart so bad I don’t even know how to fight anymore.
Truly, it is near the finish line when our mechanisms begin to wear down and give up on us. But even though I almost
lost my faith, God never abandoned me. He held my hand all throughout and lifted me up from the valley of darkness! I
have come to know that brokenness is dying to self and living by Christ’s power. Only God can turn our mourning
into dancing (Psalm 30:11).

“Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seeds to sow, will
return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.” – Psalm 126:5-6

“Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seeds to sow, will return
with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.” – Psalm 126:5-6

I wish to thank you all for generously providing for all my needs during my intense review for the Physician Licensure Boards
this year. I am humbled by the goodness of the lord to allow me to place number 6 in the board exam!

This achievement will not be possible without your support and faith in me for which I am truly grateful.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your families!

With love and utmost gratitude,

Iandycel Mijares, M.D.
