Editorial Desk

‘ABHIVYAKTHA’ is the magazine created by the students of Kalpataru

Central School. This magazine serves like a year book for the students of the school.
It carries class photographs of the respective batches and messages from the
prominent members of the managing committee and the Principal. There are a
few pages highlighting the important events of 2020 - 2021 covering a span of
one year of yeomen service to the community, areas dealing with co - curricular
activities and farewell to 10th Std. students. The faculty photographs have been
inserted and, last but not the least, the narrative pages consisting of articles
from students as well as the faculty. The word ‘ABHIVYAKTHA’ stands for the
manifestation of the beauty of inner - self as an extension of different human
skills with their own intrinsic values. Our school magazine ABHIVYAKTHA’ reflects
the potential of our students and the dramatic growth of the school.
Posterity will know about the unique tradition nurtured by the school. This
valuable publication is an opportunity created for the students to showcase their
creative talent along with their academic achievement. Students are encouraged to
participate in games, athletics, music, dance, art/ craft, scientific models, IT
oriented courses, dramatics and various other activities.

These activities make the school interesting and worth remembering. This
school magazine is the window to the activities of the school. We, the members
of the Editorial Board have endeavored to make the school magazine reflect
the glory of our school and to bring out the best from our students.

The school strives to create global citizens embedded with deep rooted Indian values
in order to make a positive difference in the world they live in.

Mission

To provide an outstanding holistic education for our students characterized by
successful learning, cultural understanding and emotional well being that provides
firm foundation for the next stage of their learning and a safe environment where
the art and science unite to produce young people of strong & compassionate
character capable of being successful in this competitive world.

President’s Desk Message

Greeting to all and welcome to the brand new academic year.
The children have moved from one grade to another.
Their learning outcomes have been very impressive.
My memories go back to almost 17 years back when the
Kalpataru Central School was started. Students, alumni,
teachers, administration and the parents have contributed
to the tremendous growth of our school in a very short span
of time. We have constantly endeavored to translate the
dream of our children into reality, one step at a time.
Our vision is to ensure development of our children into
mature, responsible and well – rounded individuals.
Our school is well equipped to provide quality education to
our children. We have added a new building to our
infrastructure this year. Atal Tinkering Lab has come into
being. So, I would like to assure the parents that they need
not look beyond our school when it comes to the best
destination for the children as our school is providing the
best and quality education.

Secreatary’s Desk Message

Kalpataru Central School is a dream institutionfor the
children who are really keen to do well in life.
We have got a wonderful state – of – the – art technology.
Ideal and modern infrastructure is our strength.
The best teachers, best books and the best laboratories are
available in the school, play ground, library and the
reading hall are in place to ensure that the children
develop sound mind in the sound body. We have been
constantly upgrading ourselves every year. New building
has come into being this year. Atal Tinkering Lab has been
sanctioned to our school by the Government to India,
Niti Ayog. We have been training our students to excel in
their academic activity, Besides, Co – Curricular
activities like music, dance, yoga and martial art,
have been given equal importance. Let us keep marching
and let us scale new heights with the co – operation
of the parents of the children.

Treasurer’s Desk Message

Our brilliant children have done us proud. Two children have
got merit certificates issued by CBSE for having scored centum
in two subjects inMarch 2020 exam. Let us not forget that the
CBSE selects only 0.01% of the total number of successful
candidates to issue the merit certificates. So, it is a proud moment
for all of us.
We have added a new building to the infrastructure of the school.
We have modernized Atal Tinkering Lab. So, the best atmosphere
is created for children to do well in the academic sphere. It is
indeed a matter of pride that our children have excelled in
co – curricular activities also bringing laurels to our school.
Kalpataru Central School is numero uno in Tiptur Taluk
considering the academic excellence achieved by our children.
I am pretty certain that the school will scale new heights in the
coming days. My best wishes to the children.

Principal’s Desk Message

Dear students and parents,
My hearty greetings to all of you. Kalpataru Central School has always tried its best to maintain

the highest quantity of academic standard providing the best congenial environment for studies.
Our school has scaled new excellent professional training our children in a range of co – curricular
activities so as to ensure the evolution of children into excellent individuals. I am proud to proclaim
that our children are very well prepared to face life and its challenges in a very positive manner.
Now that we have Atal Tinkering Lab sanctioned by Government of India, Niti Ayog our school has
taken a huge leap forward in bringing information, communicative technology and creativity into
classroom teaching and learning process. Learning outcomes have been quite satisfying and tremendous.
I take this opportunity to thank all the parents for having reposed faith in our school. I am highly
indebted to the management of Kalpataru Vidya Smasthe for having supported us in all our endeavors.
I wish all the best to our stellar children.

New Building Inauguration

Inauguration of the new building of Kalpataru Central School

took place on 18th October 19-20.Sri J.C. Madhuswamy, hon'ble minster
for Law parliamentary affairs & miner irrigation, Government of Karnataka,
Inaugurated the new building.
Sri S.Sureshkumar, hon'ble minster for Primary & Secondary Education,
Government ofKarnataka, was also present on the occasion.
Sri G.S Basavaraju, member of parliament, Tumkur spoke on the occasion.
Sri P.K Tipperudrappa, the president, Kalpataru Vidya Samsthe Tiptur.
Presided over the function.
Sri B.C.Nagesh, MLA Tiptur & Sri A.S. Jairam, MLA Turvekere, were
present on the occasion. The office bearers of kalpataru Vidya Samsthe
& members were present on the occasion.

Atal Tinkering Lab Inauguration

World Music & Yoga Day

We celebrated World Music and Yoga day on June 21st 2020. Only a few
children and teachers could take part in the programme in order to maintain
physical distancing in the context of the pandemic.

A pro - active initiative in creating awareness among children about
the positive impact of yoga in our lives. Do yoga and enjoy life is the
intended message here. Yoga is a therapy to keep the body fit, mind
clam and help live a relaxed and quality life.



Festivals & Memorials

World Environment Day “ Time for Nature” is the
theme for world environment day 2020. With a
focus on its role in providing the essential infrastructure
that supports life on Earth and human development.





Independence Day

Independence Day was celebrated
on 15th Aug 2020. The Principal and
the teachers took part in the programme and
the photographs were uploaded in the students
WhatsApp groups.



Krishna Janmastami

Krishna Janmastami also known as Gokulastami is
an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of
Krishna.
