Gas Chromatograph

The Gas Chromatograph has been Yokokgawa’s flagship analytical product since 1959. As a
leading manufacturer of process gas chromatographs with production facilities in Japan, Singapore,
USA and Europe, Yokogawa offers our customers the most advanced and sophisticated gas
chromatograph technology available in the market today.

Key Features of the GC1000 Mark II and GC8000:

• Complete suite of analytical hardware available to tackle the wide range of applications seen

in process industries

• High Sensitivity Thermal Conductivity Detector (HTCD) capable of measuring down into the low

parts-per-million ranges often replacing Flame lonization Detectors (FID) and/or Flame

Gas Density Systems

There are many applications where the accurate, repeatable measurement of
gas density is essential; from blending of fuel, to product quality, to Hydrogen
purity and replacement in utility turbines. Yokogawa’s Model GD402 gas density
analyzer and Model GD40 detector not only provide continuous measurement of
gas density, but also several other valuable parameters, including specific gravity,
BTU, Caloric value and molecular weight.

Key Features of the GD402/GD40:

• Multi-frequency cylinder oscillation makes the GD402’s measurement resistant
to errors that can be caused by dust, oil, vibration temperature changes

• The GD402 analyzer maintains ±1% FS accuracy and a response time (T90) of
less than 5 seconds

Steam & Water Analysis System (SWAS)

Dependable water quality measurements are critical
for steam, boiler water, condensate and blowbown
applications. Yokogawa has customized liquid analysis
solutions for pH, conductivity, sodium, silica and
hydrazine among others.

Tunable Diode Laser Analyzer (TDLS) Important Applications:

The Yokogawa Tunable Diode Laser Spectroscopy • Combustion Analysis

• Laser-based analyzer specifically designed to measure oxygen in process applictions
• Avoids the high maintenance and measurement errors of paramagnetic analyzers
• Extractive design with a built in flow cell (optionally heated to 120˚C)
• Same electronics and communications options of the TDLS 200

Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS)

With increasing requirements for environmental monitoring, particularly to meet
the new mandates for the Green House Gas (GHG) regulations, the IR400 gas
analyzer is the perfect solution for these applications. It is capable of measuring the
concentrations of NOx, SO2, CO2, CO, CH4 and O2 components in a sample gas.
O2 is measured by TDLS 220 or external-mount type zirconia sensor.

Key Features of the IR400:

• Measures five components simultaneously and continuously

• Highly sensitive and reliable mass flow type twin detector gives accurate
measurement ensuring a stable operation

• Features include O2 conversion, average value computation, automatic
calibration, one touch calibration, upper/lower limit alarm, and remote
measurement range changeover
