Anju Told TFT that “Being a part of Wedding Asia is
constantly helpful. We are getting great response”.

Be that as it may, one of the exhibitors Sameer told
‘This year footfall was less as contrast with a year ago.
In any case, yet, I’m glad to be a part of this event”.

In spite of the fact that the Footfall was great
yet because of jeweler’s strike, show had just 2-3
companies from teh segment. Ms. Lalita who came in
to display from Ludhiana said “The Exhibition is great
yet a young lady can not resemble an immaculate
spouse without jewellery, that is the reason for me that
this edition is less appealing. On the off chance that the
organisers could have hold the event untill jeweller’s
issues were resolved, on the grounds that their vicinity
would have enhanced this show significantly more”.

Wedding Asia, is the brainchild of Anupreet and
Maninder Sethi. Anupreet Sethi, director, Wedding
Asia Told TFT “ It is the first of its sort of stage that
the nation has seen. Attire, jewellery, sterling silver,
material and frill, the three-day event is loaded with
the finest gathering of each possible article for the
bride and groom, set up together meticulously by
the top-notch names in bridal finery from the Asian
subcontinent.

Anupreet :
“To make it fruitful we are working hard for our
brands. We don’t welcome brands to take an interest
just yet we additionally çreate new brands to address
the business sector needs and necessities. We make
sense of the right creators from the business sector and
take them into the event. That is the reason whoever
went along with us ten years back, are still with us and
on the grounds that they are developing with every
edition as we may be, they are not going anyplace.

Maninder :
“However, each event is a challenge for us. See
this time as jewelers didn’t participate because of
their strike . Be that as it may, as we effectively said
whatever issue comes to us, the show must go on. You
can see that the display is as fruitful as it used to be
with gem dealers.”

About the meeting Mr. Chander

market Research study is another
important segment, unless we
know the size of the MICE industry,
the Economic impact, and the
stakeholders cannot plan their
priorities for creating additional
infrastructure and work on
promotional activities”.

TFT was the first to cover
about the changes in ICPB, just
after Mr. Mansharamani was
elected as its VC. In his exclusive
interview, which was published
in TFT’s February issue, Mr.
Mansharamani told us “The Vision
I have mentioned earlier is mainly
the MICE policy recommendations
to the Ministry of Tourism which
we will be deliberating with the
entire Membership for their views
and forward it to the Ministry of
Tourism. ”

No doubt,
ICPB vision is
really attractive
for MICE
industry but Mr.
Mansharamani
said in his
previous
interview that
“Funds are the biggest challenge for
us. We can’t move business without
funds.”
The issue is more or less being
addressed, yet he doesn’t mention
it for reasons best known to him.
The big question still remains
that without funds how will ICPB
become a pioneer in making
India a meeting and convention
destination? This question is still
alive.
