• HISTORY OF Along w ith most of Southeast Asia, Japanese forces
JOHOR occupied Johor Bahru from 1942 to 1945 during the
Pacific War. Johor Bahru became the cradle of Malay
BAHRU nationalism after the w ar and a major political party
know n as the United Malays National Organisation
(UMNO) w as founded at the Istana Besar of Johor Bahru
in 1946.

• My family and I planned to go on a vacation to Johor Bahru to
explore a little bit about some interesting things in JB

• We decided to stay at a hotel called GRAND MEDINI SUITES
because the rating is quite good for a short vacation

DAY 1 • On the first day in JB, me and my family went
to breakfast and eat some of the popular
food in Johor which is Nasi Ambeng. After
breakfast, we visited one of most expensive
and modern stadium in Malaysia called
Stadium Sultan Ibrahim. It is named in honor
of the state’s current ruler, Sultan Ibramin
ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar. After we
visited the stadium, my family and I stopped
at a stall that sells many Johor traditional
foods such as mee bandung, satay, lontong
and many more.

DAY 2

• The second day is one of my favourite places to go
since I was a little child and that is the LEGOLAND
MALAYSIA in Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru. After we
arrived, there’s a heavy rain so we couldn’t play the
outdoor theme park yet.We can only play the indoor
theme park like building lego.After the rain starts to

slow down.We finally can play the outdoor one, it was
the best part if going to LEGOLAND.We played an
extreme roller coaster ride.After that we’re going to
the next ride called LEGO NINJAGO The Ride, it is a
3D ride that is a 4 people ride. It was very fun! After
playing some other rides, we are finally at the end of
the Legoland and buying some souvenirs before going
back to the hotel.

• On the 3rd day, me and my family are going
to the Desaru Beach in Bandar Penawar.

• We are playing on the beach and taking
some pictures of the scenery

DAY 3

DAY 4

On day 4, we’re going to our hometown
in Segamat. It is because to celebrate our
cousin’s birthday party. Our family having
a barbecue night to celebrated with that.

After the party, we’re having a lucky draw
between aunts and uncles.The kids are
playing a board games fight between
cousins.

DAY 5 • On the last day. We’re finally going back

home. It is one of the beautiful memories to

keep in our hearts. I hope we can visit more
places in Johor Bahru, Johor.
