Dear Colleagues, Mohd Azanuddin Salleh

Since its establishment in 1996, the SIRIM QAS International’s brand is
an extremely valuable asset that can generate substantial success for all
involved with our brand. Therefore, we have created this brand manual,
which aimed at helping people who use the brand to understand its
origin, the brand values and the best ways of getting the most out of our
brand.

This brand manual is written for the benefit of those people within the
SIRIM QAS International, which entails on guidelines, rules, and examples
for upholding the throughout all aspects of SIRIM QAS International’s
corporate and marketing communications.

A brand is always evolving and people’s perceptions of it do change
from time to time. Therefore, it is my hope that everyone concerned to
adhere our brand’s guidelines in demonstrating that we are indeed one
organization by offering a consistent level of quality and best practices

Testing Where it comes from

Inspection SIRIM QAS International Sdn. Bhd. (SIRIM QAS), a wholly-owned
subsidiary of SIRIM is the largest and oldest Testing, Inspection and
Certification Certification body in Malaysia. Although incorporated as a company on
18th November 1996, SIRIM QAS background and experience in these

The transfer of these services to SIRIM QAS has enabled us to focus

International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International
Accreditation Forum (IAF).

Generally, SIRIM QAS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SIRIM. “QAS” is
intended to mean Quality Assurance Services to reflect the focus of our
organization which is the provision of conformity assessment services.
