hello!

On behalf of the talented people that make up Red Thread, I want to personally welcome you!

Red Thread has a unique market position with regional and integrated capabilities second to
none. Our ability to leverage a vast amount of expertise within our company and through
Steelcase is a competitive advantage that I encourage you to utilize each and every day. In
addition to collaborating, I ask you to be curious – don’t take things for granted, ask questions
relentlessly, and see learning as something fun!

Above all, I hope you will share your ideas with your team, your colleagues and with me. I look
forward to meeting you and working together!

Sincerely,

Jeff Keener
CEO

At Red Thread we are…

curious At Red Thread we believe that each of us, no matter what our job, can improve

our company if we're curious. Let's all be curious about our customers and take that extra step to
find out how we can help them. Let's be curious about ways to improve our results and when you
have an idea, take a risk and speak up. And finally, let’s be curious about each other and
together find ways to make Red Thread a vibrant community.

competitive We operate in a very competitive market and little things can mean the

difference between winning and losing. Our success comes from being relentless in how we
compete for new business as well as retaining the business we currently have.

collaborative Red Thread is built on multiple businesses across five states and we

have talented people throughout our enterprise. Each of us will have more success if we
collaborate with our colleagues. Ask yourself every day if you're communicating with and being
responsive to your teammates.

caring It can get busy and, at times, we all feel the stress. Let's make sure we're caring

about our teammates, looking out for their wellbeing and doing our part to make this a supportive
place to work.

OUR NAME

“An invisible red thread connects those destined to meet,
regardless of time, place, or circumstances. The thread may
stretch or tangle, but never break.” ~Ancient Chinese Proverb

The legend of the ‘red thread’ runs through the core of all we do. It expresses the
connection we see between our culture, values and business mission. It also helps us
articulate our aspiration to help our customers identify their own common threads — the
way their brand, culture and promise can be effectively expressed through their
environments’ furniture, technology, architectural systems and audiovisual solutions

ELEVATOR PITCH

An "Elevator Pitch" is a concise, carefully planned, and well-practiced description about our company that your
mother should be able to understand in the time it would take to ride up an elevator.

Here’s a suggestion:

“Red Thread works with organizations to create strategic work environments that support key business issues
such as employee engagement, wellbeing, real estate optimization, brand and culture.

We do this by listening to our customers, sharing research and insight, and by designing solutions that
address today’s needs but also have the flexibility to accommodate future change.

One of our biggest values to customers is our integrated interiors capability. We have vast expertise not only
in contract furniture, but also in technology, AV, architectural products like demountable walls and flooring, as
well as lighting, acoustics and even custom millwork. That’s where we really stand out, in our ability to deliver
holistic solutions that work together seamlessly.”

OUR INTEGRATED INTERIORS APPROACH

Creating integrated interiors means taking a holistic approach to workplace environments by creating beautiful, functional, flexible and environmentally
responsible spaces that streamline the process and make it cost effective. Our Team has individual expertise in furniture, architectural systems,
audiovisual, technology, flooring, and custom solutions, but our greatest value lies in the seamless integration. Our Integrated Interiors graphic
demonstrates how each of these business segments are interconnected and expresses one of our key value propositions.

YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS

The first 90 days are critical for defining your career at Red Thread. Here are some helpful hints as you navigate through your first few months:

1. Ask questions. Red Thread has an “open door policy” and strongly believes effective communication forms the basis
for sound work relationships and a positive work environment. Even if you are experienced, Red Thread has its own
culture and procedures. You and your manager will both be adjusting to each other and it will take time to get to know
one another. Feel free to ask questions of your Manager and peers if you need clarification or are faced with uncertainty
of any kind. Questions can be a way to contribute!

2. Have regular touch down meetings with your Manager. Find a time that works best for both of you.

3. Say “Yes”. Say yes to after work socials, to extra projects that require some extra time, volunteer at an event the
company is hosting, and definitely say yes to additional learning opportunities. Roll up your sleeves and get your hands
dirty, exploring as many nuances of your new role as possible.

4. Introduce yourself to others.

5. Read the employee handbook. Becoming familiar with it will help you understand the protocols and procedures we
use here at Red Thread.

These first weeks and months will be full of challenges and will perhaps be exhausting. Remember that showing initiative in the beginning will pay
off in the long run by establishing your presence. We encourage you to ask questions and develop relationships with your colleagues. And through
it all, please remember that we are here to support your transition and are pleased to have you on board! Welcome!
