INTRODUCTION
Financial literacy is seen as one of the essential skills to be acquired by students
before they step into the real world. Budgeting, managing debt, credit, saving,
and investing for future endeavors are among the personal financial resources
that need to be equipped skillfully and managed wisely.
Besides just financial literacy, it is now more important to empower the
students to be digitally financially literate. The ability to use financial products
or services on the digital platform may not only lead the student but also their
entire families towards financial inclusion. Financial inclusion is one of the ways
of uplifting the B40 community.
With this main aim, this summer program intends to expose and educate the
students with the relevant knowledge and skills in personal finance, especially
on emergency funds. This program includes hands-on learning activities to
enrich their understanding of this area of focus.
