CFAB Certificate

and
Business
What is the CFAB
The Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB) was launched by The Institute
of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) in September 2008 in United
Kingdom (UK) as a new stand-alone business qualification. ICAEW CFAB is a respected
stand-alone qualification, however it also serves as a route to the Business and Finance
Professional (BFP) designation and chartered accountancy with the ACA qualification.
It provides essential knowledge in the fundamentals of finance, accounting and business,
and can be used as an entry route into the ICAEW programme.
The CFAB for school leavers
Following the launch of the CFAB in UK, Sunway TES CAE formulated an innovative
pathway for school leavers.
This specially designed pathway is a feeder into the ICAEW and provides school leavers
with an accelerated route to the ICAEW ACA qualification.
The ACA qualification is regarded globally as one of the leading business and finance
qualifications, and is recognised and valued in practice, industry, commerce and the
public sector.
Why CFAB for school leavers
Through this innovative pathway, students can progress to the ICAEW programme and
obtain the prestigious ACA qualification right after high school. Its unique approach which
allows both classroom studies and practical work experience offers a holistic learning
experience and equips you with relevant skills to be an adept Chartered Accountant.
