This is my journal. My journal is filled
with my biodata, lesson schedule and even
some notes taken in class. My mother is the
one who suggested this journal and she said
that I better bring it everywhere I go
2 so I can take notes of important things
I grew up in a pretty strict,
conservative family. My father
works a lot, so he is rarely in
the house. My mother is a
stay at home mom, and she often
helps me with my studies. But
we don.t talk much outside of
studying. She is very focused
on my studies, and she expects
many things from me, especially
my success in school.
I read a lot of books in my studies, and
overtime, I became excited with every turn
of the page, anticipating the information
I will learn from every word. Books
became my best friend, and my teacher. It
guides me everywhere, takes me to
unknown places, and helps me comprehend
things I cannot learn from anywhere

SPROUT JOURNEY

My family is very big! Even
my grandmother lives with
us. My parents both work
hard to support all of us,
especially grandmother who
is sick and needs medicine
routinely. I like that we have
a full house. The house is
never silent, or lonely. Me
and grandma often bake
cookies together, and I
wouldn’t trade it for
anything.
Even though my parents work
really hard everyday, sometimes
it’s hard for us to afford daily
necessities. We have to prioritize,
especially with grandma sick, I
cannot be selfish. to help out I
often moonlight as a shoeshiner.
It’s not a lot, but it’s honest
work, and the money can help my
family out. Sometimes, I even have
excess money to buy snacks.

My hobby is playing
kite! it is fun to see the
kite flying high in the
sky. But be careful of
the wind and
other kites, it might
make your kite’s wire
snap and you need to
chase the kite before
anyone gets it!
