While we want to help you with Weddings and Parties, Toddler Groups and
Community Lunches, we really want you to know that the greatest thing we are
about is telling you about how you can have a New Hope, know a New Love and
gain a New Life is Jesus. Bowler hat or not we’ve discovered that Jesus is the best
direction to follow.
We’ve been looking for you because God’s been looking for you, and we hope that
you will let us get to know you more and more so that, yes we can help with the
practical things, but even more so that we can help you to know the life changing
wonder of God’s Hope, God’s Love and God’s Life.

SUNDAYS: 21. PATHFINDERS - for Y7-9. We meet every Sunday morning whilst the church service
is taking place (except for the first Sunday of the month, when there is an all-age

23. PRAYER CHAIN. The Prayer Chain consists of a very small group of church members

This will always be treated as confidential. In this ministry we seek to fulfil what the

25. SUNDAY MORNING CRÈCHE - for age 0-3s. Children can come to the crèche at
(children in church for the first 15 minutes) 10:30am or be in church with their parents for the first 15 minutes of the service, when
the children leave to go to their groups in the halls. We have a good selection of toys,
Crèche - 0-2 year olds crayons and colouring books to suit all the different stages of development. We
encourage parents to leave their children and return to church.

15 JUNIOR FOOTBALL. There are two football squads for boys which meet on Saturday CALENDAR

17. MEN BEHAVING DADLY - for dads with pre-school age children. This provides an 8pm 242 Together

19. MISSION. Christ Church has commissioned and supports five mission partner 10am Church open for prayer 9
families through prayer and financial giving by the congregation. These partners work
with Christian mission agencies in Africa, United States and the UK. This is in the areas Cards available with details

support for mission and mission partners, community transformation and sharing the

20. OPEN DOORS LUNCHES– an afternoon group for all. We meet in the halls on the
2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 12.15pm for 12:30pm, when a two course meal
is served, followed by a Bible study or speaker, finishing with tea and biscuits. Annual
summer outings have included steam train and boat trips, gardens and stately homes.
We remember particular ‘0’ birthdays. We have a special summer tea and a Christmas
celebration. A mixture of learning, fellowship and fun. The contribution for the lunch is
£3 for adults and £1.50 for children. Please book a place on 07570 999 567 preferably
