THE DIRECTORS /
MBA EMPLOYMENT REPORT / CLASS OF 2015
Year after year, the HEC Montréal MBA program attracks selected
students ready for the challenge and able to distinguish themselves.
Indeed, successfully completing the MBA program within a one year
period requires not only talent, but outstanding organisation skills
and considerable adaptability.
Our students have a significant advantage: they already have solid
experience under their belts when they join the program, which gives
them the opportunity to learn from both their fellow students and their
professors. Their language proficiency, their mobility and their strong
interpersonal skills combined with their leading edge knowledge acquired
in the MBA program makes them prime candidates for recruiters who,
again this year, were very impressed by our graduates.
The HEC Montréal MBA program goes much beyond an academic
education; it is a life experience, a springboard to the future,
a breeding ground of expertise.

MBA /
MBA EMPLOYMENT REPORT / CLASS OF 2015
Carrying the mark of innovation and excellence, the MBA program is offered in two formats: full time and part time.
The language of study of the full time MBA may be French and/or English. Completed within one year, it involves more
than 600 hours of courses, just as the two-year program. It is no small feat that our students accomplish successfully.
PRACTICAL TRAINING EASILY TRANSFERABLE TO THE WORKPLACE
Our students average more than 7 years of professional experience and come from various industries. With their training
focused on team work, simulations, case studies and business consulting projects, they continually improve their competitive
edge and share their skills to reach their objectives. Students must learn to manage their time and get results within very
challenging deadlines by relying on the strengths and balance of their task force.
INDIVIDUAL MANAGEMENT COACHING
Becoming a better manager is also knowing how to benefit from the experience of others. The personalized coaching program
g ives students the opportunity to share their management concerns with seasoned practitioners who can help them develop
their insight capabilities and adopt new management practices.
A TRULY INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
The HEC Montréal experience means living in a multilingual and multicultural environment with students originating
from more than 20 countries. To get a better understanding of the dynamics of international exchanges, students can also
take part in the Campus Abroad program. This gives them the opportunity to experience global immersion and exposes
them to the business culture of certain industries in a chosen region by interacting directly with local business managers
and company executives.
LEADERSHIP IN ACTION AND ADDITIONAL TRAINING
The School and the MBA Students Association (AEMBA) offer students several opportunities to demonstrate their leadership.
They can organize seminars, get involved in the administration of the AEMBA or in one of the clubs active on campus.
Students can also strengthen their skills by registering for SAP certification, business French or English classes
or interuniversity competitions.
