About us

Konza Glass is a Kenyan glass blowing company which manufactures
distinctive products from recycled glass. We endeavor to deliver
exceptional hand-made glass art abundant of colour, pattern and
form.
Our products fall into 4 categories: kitchenware, décor, lighting
fixtures and construction items. Each piece can be customized to
suit your specifications.
We pride ourselves in doing our part to conserve the environment
through recycling of used glass which would otherwise end up in
dumping sites.
Our factory and display are located in Syokimau, Machakos County.

The Process

The glass recycling process commences with the sorting of glass
according to their colours. It is then cleaned and fed into the furnace
which heats up to 1100 degrees Celsius. It takes approximately 8
hours for the glass to melt and be ready for blowing/casting. Various
colours can be added in the process.
With that, broken window glasses and discarded bottles are
converted into head-turning artistic pieces to embellish your space.
Please note that bubbles may form depending on the temperature
of the glass, and do not in any way compromise the quality of the
product.
