How to make

KRATONG

1.Cut or slice a banana trunk to
make Krathong's base.

2.Horizontally clean the banana
leaves with dry cloth.

3.Leave the banana leaves to dry
and soft.

4.Cut the banana leaves stalks.
5.Tear or cut banana leaves to

approximately 1.5 inches wide and
6 inches long
6.Fold banana leaves inwards 2 times
on each side till they meet the
center as shown in the picture

7. Overlap folded banana leaves in 3 layers

8. Place each set of folded banana leaves on the
prepared banana trunk

9. Tear or cut banana leaves to approximately 2.5
inches wide and 6 inches long

10. Do the same as No. 5. Then, pull each side
