How does your garden grow? We are called to bear fruit, but just as there are

rhythms and seasons in nature, our Gardener sometimes takes our heart-gardens

into periods of dormancy. Despite the barrenness of this “winter” landscape,

there’s a lot going on beneath the surface, preparing for the lovely fruits and

flowers of the seasons to come. Consider with us the wisdom of our Gardener in

providing rest and repairs from the wear and tear of daily life, as well as from

particular stresses and storms. Allow our Lord to care for you, however your

garden is growing. The retreat will include a reprise of teaching from the sum-

mer retreat that many women attended, followed by two new talks.
