When Joey lost Crocky

Like all animals, Joey the hippo brings his favorite
stuffed animal, Crocky everywhere he goes.

But Crocky was extra special because he was given to
Joey by his grandparents when he was born.

One day Joey was playing at the park with his friends
sam and kate

Later that night Joey couldn’t find crocky anywhere

Joey ran to his mom and told her about what happened.
His mom then said that they would look at the park

The next day, at the park Joey can’t find anything.

Soon, it was time for Joey to head home.

When Joey got home he immediately ran up to his room. AS joey arrived, the other
stuffed animals knew something was wrong… for Joey didn’t have Croccy!

The other stuffed animals kept asking Joey questions like “Where
is Croccy”.

He started responding with things like “He’s in the
bathroom!” and “He’s drinking tea!” -denying that Croccy
was actually gone

A few minutes later Joey’s mom knocked on his door
and asked how he was doing.

Joey said, “I can’t find Crocky anywhere!! If you didn’t take me to the park I wouldn’t
have lost him in the first place!”

Joey’s mom walked away upset that Joey had yelled
at her.

Joey then started begging his stuffed animals to bring crocky back. “I will do anything to
bring crocky back, I just want to see him!” Joey yelled. The animals are telling Joey that
they can’t find crocky and that he is gone.

As time passed, Joey became very sad. He wouldn’t eat
his favorite meals and he never went out to play games
with any of his friends.

One night Joey was lying in bed when he decided to
apologize for yelling at his mom.

He got out of bed and knocked on his mom’s door.
When she opened it, Joey said “I’m sorry I yelled at
you… I’m just really upset about Croccy”.

Joey’s mom hugged him back and said “ It’s okay joey.
But just because Croccy’s gone, doesn’t mean the
memories went with him.”

That night joey got the best sleep he ever had because
he was remembering croccy.
