Stretches

• 2 Warm up laps
Arm Stretches:
1. Arms across your chest for 10 seconds each arm
2. Arms behind your head for 10 seconds each
Leg Stretches:
1. Spread your legs 10 seconds each leg
2. Keep your feet together and touch your toes

Wall Ball

• Instructions- Everyone goes to a wall with a tennis ball and
throw the ball off the wall. Once you throw the ball
someone must try and catch the ball, however if the ball is
dropped or bobbled you have to touch the wall before the
ball is thrown at the wall. If the ball beats you, you are out.

• Objective: be the last person

• Equipment: Tennis ball

• Key Skills: Catching, Hand eye coordination, and running

• Space requirement: A wall

• Time requirement: 8- 10 minutes

Chicago Dodge Ball

• Instructions- There are two teams on a basketball court with balls at the middle.
The point is to get everyone on the other team out by hitting them with or catch a
ball that was thrown by someone on the other team, also if you get out you can
still catch the ball from the opposing team

• Objective: eliminate the other team
• Equipment: dodgeballs
• Key skills: Throwing, catching, hand eye coordination, and dodging
• Space requirements: full court
• Time requirement: 10-15 minutes

Kickball

• Instructions- There are two teams ones of defense and the
other is on offense. The team on offense has to try and kick
the ball and run around all four bases with out getting out,
tagged, or pegged. The defense has to get three out so they
can switch sides. The team with the most runs at the end
wins.

• Objective- have the most runs

• Equipment- red rubber ball, cones (bases)

• Key skills: throwing, catching, kicking, running, dodging

• Space requirement- full or half court

• Time requirement 15-20 minutes

Ultimate football

• Instructions- There are two teams one is on defense and the
other is on offense. The offense team has 5 seconds to
throw the football to a teammate they have to get into the
endzone to score, if they drop the ball they’re drive is over.
The defense has to stop the offense by making them drop
the ball and intercept it.

• Objective: get the most touchdowns

• Equipment- football, cones

• Key skills- catching, throwing, running, teamwork

• Space length- full court

• Time requirement- 10-15 minutes

Hot potato

• Instructions- Everyone is in a circle passing a ball to each other and say the hot
potato phrase when it ends who ever has the ball at the end is out. The goal is to
be the last person

• Objective- Be the last person
• Equipment- ball
• Key skills- catching- throwing
• Space requirement- half court
• Time requirement- 10-15 minutes

Bear Crawl Relays

• Instructions- There are two teams racing each other but while you are racing you
have to bear crawl around the cone and back to your team. Once you pass your
teammate you can start your lap. The team that finishes the race wins.

• Objective- be the first to finish
• Equipment- Cones
• Key skills- bear crawl speed
• Space requirement- half court
• Time requirement- 10-15 minutes

Freeze Tag

• Instructions- There is one person who is “it” and they have to try and get everyone
frozen, if you get tagged you have to stop moving the only way you can move is by
someone touching your hand.

• Objective- be the last person
• Equipment- none
• Key skills- running
• Space requirement- half court
• Time requirement- 10-15 minutes

4 Squares

• Instructions- There are four people and each of them
are standing in their own square, you need to bounce
the ball in each square and make sure the ball doesn’t
hit your square twice in row

• Objective- Be the last person
• Equipment- Ball and tape
• Key skills- reaction time, hand-eye coordination
• Space requirement- half court
• Time requirement- 5-10 minutes

Trust Walk

• Instructions- There are 4 teams and each team is racing against each other the
person who is up has to be blindfolded and there needs to be a player being them
guiding them where to go.

• Objective- Be the first team to complete race
• Equipment- Cones and blindfolds
• Key Skills- Communication, teamwork
• Space requirement- Half court
• Time requirement- 10-15 minutes

Tag with a Twist

• Instructions- There are to people who are “it” and everyone is running away with
them, but the thing is that the people who are “it” have to tag the same person at
the same time to get them out

• Objective- Be the last person
• Key skills- Running, teamwork, and cooperation
• Equipment- none
• Space requirement- Half court
• Time requirement- 15-20 minutes

Knee Tug of War

• Instructions- two teams are competing to pull the other team across the cone, but
the twist is that you can’t be on your feet you have to be on your knees.

• Objective- win 3 rounds
• Key skills- arm and back strength, teamwork, and cooperation
• Equiepment- Rope and cones
• Space requirement- half court
• Time requirement- 15-20 minutes

Horse

• Instructions- Everyone is at the basketball hoop and one
person gets to create a shot and if he makes it everyone
has to do the same exact shot, if they miss the replicated
shot they get “H” in the word horse, and if you get the
entire word you are out.

• Objective- don’t get out by spelling horse

• Equipment- Basketball and basketball hoop

• Key skills- basketball skills

• Space requirement- half court

• Time requirement- 15-20 minutes
