Medium Watercolour, markers, liners
Abstract Inspired by the famous Japanese artist; Katsushika
Hokusai’s famous Ukiyo-e, a type of a traditional art
from Japan, the artwork discovers more about his
and my own progress as an artist. Hokusai took
quite some time to improve his artwork to what we
know today.
Ukiyo-e is often translated as ‘pictures of the float-
ing world’ and depicted the Edo Period. It usually use
landscapes and Edo people as inspirations. With the
modernizing era of the current days, artists who do
Ukiyo-e took modern approaches. In the artwork, a
fictional character from the famous video game; Fate
Grand Order stylize Hokusai as and a cute octopus
and his daughter, Katsushika Oi who is also an artist
as a beautiful girl. A twist of modern art and tradi-
tional art into this art from gives it a unique twist.

Delicate
Medium Acrylic
Abstract The colours used for the background are
the mix of blue which means calm, and red
that will add the intensity to it. This
shows how quick my mood can change ac-
cording to the situation. The subject,
which is bubbles, imply sensitiveness. Alt-
hough I may seem bubbly and joyful at
times, I am actually really sensitive with
my surroundings, on how people treat me,
talk to me, and with their facial expres-
sions.
Experimental art (30cm x 30cm)
Medium Makeup
Abstract Using eyeshadow and eyeliner, I chose an
eye as the subject. Mainly because of the
makeups that are only used at the eye's
area. The soft and pigmented texture of
eyeshadow make it easy for the colours
to blend well together, resulting in the iris
of the eye. Meanwhile for the eyelashes, I
used pointy eyeliner to draw it one by
one.

High
Medium Magazines
Abstract Using random cut outs from magazines, I
created a collage which shows the state of
being on drugs. How everything seems to
be funny and beautiful when you're high,
when in reality, it is just a bunch of things
that are not even real.

batik
Medium Watercolour and masking fluid
Abstract As a kid that was born in Kelantan, I feel
that batik is one of the closest culture
that I learnt from my early ages. The sim-
pleness of batik make it easy for people to
create it and enjoy it at the same time. To
replace the wax, I use masking fluid before
applying watercolours on the watercolor
paper. Although the result may not turn as
great as the original batik, it still come out
nice because of the simpleness of it.

Medium Post color, board
Abstract The vaporwave design style is an evolution
of Cyberpunk's artistic style. It is a fusion
of visual features such as retro, avant-
garde, and hybrid. As a young art style,
steam wave art has the flavor of post-
modern art: bright colors, high contrast, di-
verse element collage, and psychedelic ef-
fects.

Heart into
the spring
Medium Rice paper, ink , brush
Abstract Compared to Western painting, Chinese
painting has its own distinct characteris-
tics. Traditional Chinese paintings do not
focus on perspective, do not emphasize
the change of light and color of objects in
nature, do not stick to the appearance of
objects, but emphasize the subjective in-
terest of the author. In this work, I want to
show the beautiful scenery of spring
