Mimi's Sausage Rolls
INGREDIENTS DIRECTIONS
2 cups Bisquick 1. Melt butter and blend with Busquick
1/2 cup milk and milk.
1/4 cup butter
1lb sausage roll 2. Refrigerate dough for 20 minutes, then
divide in half
3. Flour dough/board
4. Roll one half of the dough rolls into a
10x7 inch rectangle, 1/8 inch thick
5.Repeat with remaining dough roll
6. Place both rolls into freezer until firm
enough to easily cut through
7. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
8.Cut rolls into thin slices and place on
baking sheet
9.Bake for 15 minutes or until golden
brown
10.Serve hot

"Sausage rolls on Christmas is a family
tradition. You can’t have Christmas
without Mimi’s sausage rolls. My
grandmother (Mimi) used to make
sausage rolls for our entire family
every Christmas. My mom is one of
five-each having four kids. I have 20
first cousins and now they have kids…
we are so grateful and lucky to have
such a big and growing family. As you
can imagine, that is too many
sausages rolls for one sweet Mimi to
make. So now we take Mimi grocery
shopping for all the ingredients weeks
before and help her make them (she
just sits and tells stories as we make
them now ). We freeze them and
pass them out on Christmas Eve for
everyone to enjoy Christmas morning."
