How to Download ISTA Stand-Alone v4.18.32

1. Download & Install QbitTorrent software h​ ttps://www.qbittorrent.org/download.php​ (​ click to
download)

2. Open Qbittorrent
> Double click downloaded ‘I​ STA-D 4.18.32.torrent’​ to open in Qbit
> Select download location for files.

Nb. (You must have 175gb freespace for the entire download of ISTA D (Diagnostics for ALL series)
ISTA P (Programming data for E-Series) & SDP for ICOM only (Programming data for F,G,I Series)

Nb.

If you only require ISTA for ​diagnostics ONLY​ without programming data, then ​deselect f​ rom
download:
SDP​ = P​ rogramming data for F,G,I Series (ICOM only!)
ISTA P​ = p​ rogramming data for E-Series only (use with DCAN,ENET or ICOM)
This will save you having to download 130Gb of unnecessary data.
ISTA+ PROGRAMMING WITH E-NET OR D-CAN INTERFACE WILL NOT WORK! ICOM IS
REQUIRED!

How to Install ISTA Stand-Alone v4.18.32

Pre-Installation Important steps:

1. Run windows update, ensure your o/s is up-to date.
2. Remove all Antivirus programs, disabling won't do, disable windows firewall & windows defender before

unpacking & installing the ISTA
3. Set ‘USER ACCOUNT CONTROL SETTINGS’ TO LOW. ​(control panel > security & maintenance)

4. (On Windows 10 only) Disable SMART SCREEN. (C​ ontrol Panel >System and Security >
Security and Maintenance. Select ChangeWindows SmartScreen settings from the left-side
pane.

5. Use 7zip ​ONLY​ to extract the ISTA archive (7z) files.

Download ​7-zip (64-bit)​ ​ or 7​ -zip (32-bit)​ (​ click to download for your system bit version)

Installation:

1. To install ISTA follow downloaded guide ‘​ INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ISTA.pdf’
2. Ista P must ONLY be installed to local c:/program files/
3. Of the two ISTA P Loaders use ONLY ​6.4 Loader for ICOM​, Use 6​ .1 Loader for K+DCAN/ ENET
