The following were elected to the Honorary Presidency of ZAVNOBiH:
-President of the Council of People's Commissars, Marshal of the Soviet
Union, Stalin;
-the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Winston Churchill,
-the President of the United States of America, Franklin Rooswelt,
-Supreme Commander -Tito;
-President of AVNOJ, dr. Ivan Ribar;
-President of ZAVNOH, Vladimir Nazor;
-President of the Executive Board of the Liberation Front of Slovenia,
Josip Vidmar.
These acts express the determination of the people of BiH that
their country, which isn´t Serb, isn´t Croat, isn´t Muslim, but also
Serb and Muslim and Croat, be a twinned community in which full
equality of all Serbs, Muslims and Croats will be ensured.
In Mrkonjić Grad there is a memorial museum of the first session of
ZAVNOBiH, as well as the House of ZAVNOBiH, which is the center of
cultural and social life of the city. It was opened on November 27th, 1973
when there was celebration of the 30th anniversary of the first session.
ZAVNOBiH was the highest state resolution of the anti-fascist movement
in Bosnia and Herzegovina, during the Second World War. That is the basis
of the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It was symbol during socialism, until 1992 and the beginning of the
war in BiH.
