Anthony Scabby “Mr. Anthony Scabby is a phenomenal employee,” says Starr Chavez. “ He answers IT calls right away and goes above and beyond each time he assists you. He is friendly, nice and helpful. Even if he is really busy, he makes sure and gets to you as soon as possible. Mr. Scabby should be recognized for his hard work and dedication to the Clinton Service Unit. Delena, Maegan, Anabel, Alissa “I would like to acknowledge the Dental Assistant Staff for going above and beyond in mentoring our newly hired Dental Assistants,” says supervisor Elverna. “ They always have a positive outlook on teaching an guiding their peers. The newly hired Dental Assistants have complimented on how they are enjoying the team and how the team is making the work environment pleasant. I do appreciate the Dental Assistant for always going above and beyond.” Tina Scott “Ms. Tina Scott has a lot of responsibility being the Administrative Officer,” says Starr Chavez. “Ms. Scott has been the example and definition of a servant leader. She will do whatever is necessary for CSU. She makes sure she is available for anyone that needs her. She will work from home or on her days off. She will answer phone calls, be a door greeter, step in for new employee orientation, or do anything that is needed. She is very deserving of this award and should be recognized for her hard work and dedication. She has also exemplified customer service, professionalism, and integrity in her position. I have watched her handle patient complaints with sincere empathy and grace and ensured that each patient is provided the highest of care. Ms. Scott is a huge asset to the Clinton Service Unit. Starr Chavez “Starr Chavez has gone above and beyond during my pre-orientation and orientation process to make me feel welcome and in helping me complete the necessary forms and to get those to the correct persons,” says Toye Crouch. “I appreciate her warm welcome and patience in helping me complete this process.” Andreya Miller “My schedule continues to have issues with blocking dates that shouldn’t be blocked,” says Andrea Hammer. “I sent an email to her after lunch and before she left for the day she had it fixed, I appreciate her eagerness to help and her upbeat and positive attitude she comes to work with on the daily.” Continued on next page...
Congratulations to all of our POP Stars! Dinaye Spottedwolf “I would like to acknowledge Dinaye Spottedwolf,” says Tiffany Botone. “She goes above and beyond with helping patients and also helping her fellow coworkers. Since the first day I started in El Reno, Dinaye never hesitated to help me or assist me with any problem that I had. Thank you Dinaye!” Continued on next page... Ryan Thrasher “On Monday, July 3rd I drew some blood for labs on a patient and noticed that the patient may have been anemic,” says Lisa Bartlett. “I called Ryan at El Reno and he came down and picked up the patient’s labwork and took it back to El Reno so that we would have results that day instead of waiting until after the holiday. It turned out the patient was almost critical value! He is always very helpful and anytime I have a problem he is very quick to respond.” Nikole Holt “Nikole has been very helpful with our HIM overtime projects,” says Haley Floyd. “I really appreciate her willingness to help us with this.” Susan Rose From a patient - “Wanted to let you know that I had an encounter with Susan this morning. She is what is missing in most “medicine” today. I’m fortunate to have Michelle Beshaw as my PCP, so I am used to good care, but Susan knocked it out of the ballpark for me today. I can’t tell you how often over the last 20 years I have thought, “if someone would feel my back, I could show them what hurts.” They always rely on MRI or CT scan. She got on the exam table on her hands and knees and actually touched my back and did range of motion testing with my neck and shoulders. I feel like by the end of my evaluation we had a good plan to address some obvious issues. I knew her when she was at Jim Thorpe Rehab, but I’d never been a patient with her. What a BLESSING!!! Tim Ortiz “I want to recognize Tim Ortiz for training El Reno MSA staff on registration and insurance processing,” says (A) FUD Derek Lieser. “His commitment to coaching/training and improving the skill set of our front end staff has not gone unnoticed.”
Agnes Seventstar, Robin Bolar, Tim Ortiz “Thank you so much to my dental team,” says Nesie Dacula. “Agnes Sevenstar just recently joined the dental team and is eager to learn and more than willing to take any task, big or small. She helped me with JOM outreach, put together over 100 toothbrush kits in July. She did it all by herself with a big smile!!! Thank you so much Agnes! Very much appreciated! Robin Bolar voluntarily helped to chart over 200 chart over 200 patients JOM outreach visits. Thank you so much , Robin! Tim Ortiz joined JOM outreach in Piedmont, OK, this is not his job but without any hesitation went and stayed with me until the end. Thank you so much Tim!” Randee Dunlap “I would like to recognize Randee Dunlap,” states Ryan Thrasher. “On Friday, July 28th a patient presented to lab for special testing that required transportation to the OSDH laboratory in turn to be sent to the CDC for testing. Per OSDH Epidemiologist guidelines, Randee collected the specimens, packaged them, and transported them to the OSDH laboratory in Stillwater. This displayed exceptional laboratory/clinic teamwork.” Kayla Thompson The El Reno Nursing staff would like to thank Kayla Thompson for, “The hard work and leadership you provide at El Reno. We couldn’t function without you.” Justine Samples “The Dental Department was without an MSA for the whole month of July,’” says Timothy Ortiz. “ During that time our Dental Assistant, Justine, has been filling in as temporary MSA taking on duties at the front as well as accomplishing her duties as a Dental Assistant. On one of our busy days Justine came in on her day off to work in assisting the front to relieve the work load. Displaying teamwork, dedication and providing quality service for not only the dental department, but to the El Reno facility as well.”
