1.0 INTRODUCTION In this digital era, communication and information dissemination have experienced a revolutionary transformation. As technology continues to advance, traditional methods of spreading religious messages and conducting campaigns have evolved to keep pace with the changing times. One such transformative approach is electronic dakwah and campaign. Electronic dakwah and campaigns have revolutionized the way Islamic teachings are disseminated and campaigns are conducted. By leveraging the power of technology, these approaches provide an unprecedented opportunity to engage with a diverse audience, inspire positive change, and strengthen the global Muslim community. As technology continues to advance, electronic dakwah and campaigns will undoubtedly play an increasingly vital role in promoting Islamic values, fostering understanding, and building bridges between cultures and religions. Under this course, AEN3183 Electronic Da’wah and Campaign, students are required to conduct one big project named Service-Learning Program Malaysia - University for the Community (SULAM). In the other hand, SULAM initiative program provides opportunities for students to develop their knowledge by involving the target community in finding and solving problems related to electronic da'wah and content that will be campaigned in the application of knowledge and skills learned in class. Thus, all students including me who registered for this course in this semester are given task to take part as members to conduct a SULAM project in Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Tasik Jaya, Seremban, along with 71 students from Sekolah Menegah Kebangsaan Agama Sheikh Hj. Mohd Said (SHAMS) and Sekolah Menengah Agama Persekutuan (SMAP) Labu to make sure tis SULAM project success.

2.0 CRITICAL REFLECTION ‘BEFORE’ The before process of SULAM is the most challenging process, I think. Because we are new to it. We know very little about SULAM also blur vision and idea about how this project will be. Focusing on what two respected instructors is very required to make sure everyone really understands the flow of this project. First and foremost, we are formed into groups together with other courses and for sure, new friends. Working with bunch of people we do not know before is kind of difficult at first, because the first ever group meeting for group five was conducted in Google Meet, online. Luckily, everyone in the groups attended the first online meet and we did introduce ourselves in very brief. After we formed an organization, everyone knows each other’s job scope and we started to break the ices. The second meeting was decided to make it face to face and everyone was excited to meet each other after three weeks of online discussions. The second meeting was conducted face to face right after the first SULAM mega meeting in the main meeting hall in Faculty of Leadership and Management. Due to the limited seats in that meeting hall, some of us have to seat on the floor and we are okay with that because others who come a little bit late also sat on the floor. After the mega meeting, we found empty class and decided to do a group discussion there. We just found out that one of the members are not there because she broke her leg. We continued the discussion and assigned tasks for everyone and brainstorm the idea of SULAM edakwah and campaign video. Our group decided to make a bully theme video. Several weeks passed and the video is about 60% already, the process and progress was fine to us. To make sure we are on track, we decided to show Dr. Kartini our halfway video on a day before SULAM day. Not even in our thought that the video we sent is not very pleasant to Dr.’s eyes, indeed, there is some violence scene in the video, so Dr. suggested us to take out that violence part and reshoot some scenes. Knowing that tomorrow is the day, we rushed our members to gather to record everything need to be fix again, though that is almost 10 at night. We decided to shoot in FPQS this time because it is quite dangerous in FKP at night due to some factors. Lesson learned, do not ever do last minute work, check, and make sure everything in a very early possible minute ever. Yet, we managed to fix everything.

3.0 CRITICAL REFLECTION ‘DURING’ We supposed to come before Subuh prayer and gather at Kompleks Sukan Tunku Najihah (KSTN) to wait for the transportation which is bus. Everyone was very excited thinking about it. Unfortunately, after a long while no rain in the morning, on the exact day of SULAM which is 14 June 2023, it was raining heavily in the morning. That morning, at KSTN, about more then 400 students with majority wearing USIM official corporates suite that supposed to look good for big event like SULAM, are stranded with wet attires, in not so big sport complex lobby. The situation there is likely no different like flood evacuation centre. Yet, everyone still so excited to go to Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Tasik Jaya (STAJA) for this SULAM project. Alhamdulillah everything went well, we even got two chocolate and corn buns, also a bottle of mineral water. Even the rain stopped while longer after the bus move from Nilai to Seremban. Like the phrase there is always a rainbow after a heavy rains, everyone steps down from bus to STAJA’s ground with a bright smile. We are welcomed warmly with the teachers and students at that primary school. There are so many booths at the main hall, FKP’s booth is near to the main stage. The vibe of primary school is there because the hall is dominated by the pupils. We are presented by cute dance performance from the kids and followed by the bombastic gimmick using chemical bomb and three drones from Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) students. Some of us stayed at the hall for explore race activities at the booth, and some other may have to go to the school library for others activity with secondary school students from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama Sheikh Hj. Mohd Said (SHAMS) and Sekolah Menengah Agama Perseketuan (SMAP) Labu. I am in the group who have to go to the library, so we walk to the school compound. The school library was full housed. The first agenda is the briefing and introduction to what is the electronic dakwah and campaign to SHAMS and SMAP Labu students from Dr. Kartini and Dr. Norsimaa. After a clear explanation to the course and what is the objective of SULAM project, the stage change hand to the famous TikTok influencer, brother Lim Jooi Soon. Brother Lim is a reverted Muslim that use TikTok as a dakwah platform to spread Islam and dakwah awareness. In his speech, brother Lim told us that dakwah works is compulsory for each and every Muslim with no excuses. He taught so many things and story a little bit how he attracted to Islam and what makes him a Muslim today. He is so eager to spread dakwah, so many others non-Muslim know about Islam. After brother Lim’s talk ended, we then divided into groups with SHAMS and SMAP Labu students to complete our tasks which is the halfway video task. It is almost afternoon and we are given our lunch to eat first before starting the activities. As everyone in the group are not hungry yet due to the excitedness, we decided to eat light first and continue after submitted the video. Through the process of completing the campaign video, the secondary students give many brilliants idea for the scenes and they are very good with the teamwork. The time given is not that much to complete the video, with a little time and some skill of good time management, our group managed to render the video and send it on time supposedly if the connection cooperates that time. Five minutes dragged, we submitted our video on Telegram five minutes late, after succeed uploading on TikTok but it is okay as everyone enjoyed the process. The events then ended with the closing ceremony and the speech from FKP Dean, and we bid a goodbye to the SHAMS and SMAP Labu students after took some pictures as a memory and for sure for the report.

4.0 CRITICAL REFLECTION ‘AFTER’ SULAM is not over yet. There are still some works to do. Due to over excitedness to make group video finished until publish, all of our members forgotten about the point that we have to interview two of the students asking for their feedback on SULAM. What is their knowledge about e-dakwah and campaign before SULAM, and how they feel and what they learnt in this project. So we have to reached them again in order to record the interview so that we can complete our task in Trello that required us to upload interview video of two students. After the video has been uploaded on TikTok @e-Dakwah Campaign on the day of SULAM, we are given some time to campaign and promote our video on any platforms of social media like WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter or Facebook to make sure people like and share our video. The marks will be included all aspect. Alhamdulillah, our group’s video gain 2298 viewers and received 327 likes, with 38 positive comments in total that’s make our hearts bloom reading them all. SULAM story has attracted media and successfully publish on Dagang News and Harakah Daily. After about a while finished SULAM at STAJA, on 5 July 2023 our respected lecturers both Dr. Kartini and Dr. Norsimaa called us for mega meeting again in purpose of postmortem and feedbacks and upgrades.

6.0 CONCLUSION All in all, SULAM project teach me so many things. Through ups and downs within a short period of time, I got new friends, new skills, new study environment, and of course new experience for sure. Alhamdulillah for everything and I will treasure this memory as one of my precious degree memories. Some lesson that I learnt are time management are very crucial. Even how busy are we, time are never waits for us, so we have to chase it. Apart from that, I learnt to make a decision in a short, what is should what is not, everything must be done on the dot. As the oldest on a team, everyone asked me what we have to do, so I have to think quick. In SULAM also, I learnt everything have the own weak point but do not worry, there is always a way and solution on how to overcome the problem. Alhamdulillah again for everything, being a part of SULAM USIM-STAJA was so nice, I discovered my disability and my weakness, I also discover my strength and creativity during this project. I also discover that I have a responsibility to spread dakwah and show others how beautiful Islam is.
