Hello, I'm Wan Fen.

Hi there! I graduated with a Bachelor degree in Industrial Design from Taiwan. I
have great passion in designing products related to people, lifestyle, society, and
animals.
Over the years in Taiwan, I got to work and collaborate with people from various
cultural backgrounds, which enriched my perspectives in design and impacted my
working style. I also discovered that the atmosphere in the city is filled with arts
and culture. Walking around creative markets and featured exhibitions there is what
I love and has always been inspiring!
I also love traveling around the world, I enjoy the adventurous moment in exploring
new places. All the journeys have transformed me to become a more social, flexible,
open-minded, and independent person. I am now eager to take on the next challenge
in my career.
This portfolio will present my design perspective and passion through each project.

ESCAPET is an escape bag designed for both the pet
and its owner in extreme survival situations. Merging
the concepts of survival tool kit and pet carrier bag
to increase the efficiency of escape.

With fertility rates falling over the decade, particularly among the young people,
most people choose to have pets over babies. For most people, pets are not just
animals, they are companions, friends, confidantes and part of the family

However, global climate change has already had obvious effects on the environment.
Natural disasters linked to climate change, such as floods, earthquakes and typhoons
have been increasingly reported over the world.

Natural disasters and emergencies happen quickly and oftentimes we are not fully
prepared. Owner and pet both have the need to escape during disaster. Being
properly equipped to meet the needs of pet when an emergency does strike, is now
crucial.

Features / Materials / Structures

Prepare a three-day emergency supply. The reflective zipper design increases the
success rate of being rescued. The straps can be stowed in the sides by build-in
magnets. The material tetoron is easy to clean, high-abrasive and light weight.
In contrast to traditional pet carrier bags, ESCAPET offers the unique easy-to-fold
and easy-to store feature as well as a variety of stulish functional option.

INSTANT SAVER

As the prevalence of cardiovascular diseases increases over the years, first
aid for heart diseases has been gaining more attention. Instant Saver is a
portable first aid device combined with automated external defibrillator patch
and portable power bank to provide the shortest time to defibrillation and
increase the possibility of survival.

Increasing attention to the care of patient succumbed to out-of-hospital
cardiac arrest and evidence for improved survival have resulted in many
countries to encourage the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs)
by legislation.
However, long-term care facilities had the highest utilization of AEDs and
setting of AEDs in remote environments still remain low.
Cardiac arrest is the sudden, abrupt loss of heart function in a person who
may or may not have diagnosed heart disease.

The combination

Electrode patches Portable Power Bank Mobile Application

Instant Saver integrated electrode patches, portable power bank and mobile
application. There is a storage box to stow the electrode patches for
emergency use. Instant Saver is designed for the general public. Companions
and passersby can use Instant Saver to deliver electric shock for the victim
who occur cardiac arrest suddenly.

Heart rate analysis Delivering a shock

With the Instant Saver mobile application, it analyses someone’s heart rhythm
and then uses visual or voice prompts to guide the user through each step. It
also provides the function of navigation and called for an ambulance nearby
the place immediately.

CHA GU NIANG is a naturalism based skin care product.
CHA (tea) means the raw material of the skin care product.
GU NIANG (lady) means the young ladies who possess the
skin with natural glow. For years, tea has been heralded
as not just a healthy beverage but also, a beauty secret.

Mineral Laboratory M LAB

Over the past decade or two, men have increasingly paid more
attention to the health, well-being and appearance of their entire
body, the largest part of which is their skin. M lab which means
mineral laboratory, earth-based ingredients. Offering the highest
quality mineral skin care, follow the steps that the packaging shown,
men skin will be fully recharged, hydrated and illuminated.
