YMCA SUMMER DAY CAMP All programs available for online registration unless otherwise noted. In a world that feels busier and more complicated every day, Lakeland Hills Family YMCA Summer Day Camp is here to give kids a place to grow, explore, and feel great about who they are. Our upbeat, enthusiastic staff bring the YMCA’s core values; caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility to life in fun, meaningful ways. And while our team leads the charge for fun summer days outside, we know the magic really happens when families and camp work hand-in-hand. Together, we help kids build confidence, kindness, and the courage to try new things. Every game played, every friend made, and every challenge tackled is part of a bigger goal: helping your child become their best, brightest self. At LHY, character development isn’t just something we talk about. It’s woven into every splash, laugh, and adventure of summer.Meet Our Camp Director Linnea BerryWe are thrilled to welcome Linnea Berry back for her second year with the Lakeland Hills Family YMCA as our Camp & Youth Program Director! Linnea brings energy, heart, and a deep commitment to creating unforgettable camp experiences where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired. With several years of experience as a Camp Director, Linnea is passionate about building engaging, fun, and meaningful camp programs for children, teens, and staff alike. She believes camp should be a place where kids can try new things, build confidence, form lasting friendships, and feel a true sense of belonging, while health, safety, and inclusion remain the top priorities. “Our daughter loved camp this summer with the variety of activities offered throughout the day and going on the camp trip. It was one of the highlights of her summer!” - Parent of a Junior Camper “It is very nice to know that your child loves going to camp every day. He talks about all the different things he did and learned each day on the ride home and that is all you can ask for as a parent.” - Parent of a Junior Camper “My kids were there 4 weeks and not bored and both are excited to go to camp again next year! They loved the variety of activities like dance, Gaga, and kickball.”- Parent of a Junior and a Senior Camper“My kids love the variety of activities that they get to do at camp each day. My older son did the sports camp and loved his counselor, the activities, and can’t wait to do it again next summer. The days are very convenient; I can drop my kids off before work and know that when I get them after work they will have had a great day.” - Parent of a Junior and a Senior CamperOUR PHILOSOPHYWELCOME TO SUMMER DAY CAMP2
