Molloy High School Bus Transportation

We are pleased to announce our new bus
service to/from the Rockaways, Broad
Channel, & Howard Beach

Overview

Beginning the first day of school in September 2018, if there is enough interest, Molloy will be
making 2-way bus service available to the families residing on the Rockaway Peninsula. We have
hired Vallo Transportation Bus Company, a well-respected bus provider in Queens. The service
will feature pick-ups at pre-established corners based upon student concentration. The two-way
service will provide pick-up times to allow the students to arrive at school with the beginning of the
school day, pick-up at school for return home both immediately after the regular school day and
late bus service to allow for student participation in extra help and extracurricular activities. Please
note that if there is enough interest, there may also be an option for one-way option to school.

Cost

The cost is $2,800 per school year per student for round trip. The cost for the one-way morning
option will be approximately $1,800. Families with more than one student will receive a 15%
discount for all students beyond the first. Bus transportation fees will be added to your tuition
invoice and paid on the same frequency: $280 per month based on 10 payment plan, and all
registrations will be 2-way bus service (or possibly a 1-way option for approximately
$180/month) for a full school year commitment.

A $280 non-refundable deposit will be required. Once student is accepted, a link will be
provided to sign-up online.

Routes & Stops

The routes will be established based upon the students that sign-up by March 31, 2018.
Routes will be communicated to the students by April 30, 2018. Students will then have until
May 15th to finalize their transportation agreements. Please note, this service will only be
offered if a minimum participation is achieved. Below is a sample of route and stops based on
