The First Smart City Forum in Johore Johor Smart City Forum (JSCF) 2023 is the first national-level forum organizes by State Government of Johor and several joint ventures from Malaysia agencies which mainly focusing on discussion and sharing towards urban management, solutions and technological revolution to develop human-centric smart city. JSCF 2023 programme will also attended by exhibitors from various backgrounds who have expertise in the implementation of smart city elements based on the seven (7) pillars of smart city that have been outlined in Johor Smart City Blueprint 2030. ROUND TABLE Roundtables gather local experts and key stakeholders to engage openly and look at concrete interventions and the integration of approaches so as to be applied in practical, systematic and real actions in cross-cutting areas (governance, economy and finance, community, individuals) by policy-makers, and city leaders and partners. EXHIBITION The exhibition encourages stakeholders to showcase their innovative and sustainable projects, initiatives and urban solutions that contributes to sustainable cities and communities. URBAN DIALOGUE The Urban Lab/Camps acts as a high impact think tank, gathering stakeholders fromdiverse backgrounds to generate and deliberate/test ideas and provide urban solutions or a specific or multi- dimension issue/challenge. SIDE EVENT Side events are open to partners and advocates of sustainable agenda, to host their own sessions and to share, discuss and contribute towards the achieve- ments of sustainable development goals of the host city, state and nation. SPECIAL SESSION Special sessions are convened to explore unique challenges and opportunities inherit to a topic of importance globally, nationally and locally. The session aims to integrate elements of the SDGs and New Urban Agenda (NUA) at the heart of discussion, providing space for reflection, learning and replication. HIGH-LEVEL DIALOGUE The High-level dialogue will convene with national, local and community leaders/representatives to deliberate on policies and actions to address current urban issues, taking into consideration government commitments that are already in place. JSCF 2023 OBJECTIVES INCREASE KNOWLEDGE COLLABORATION OPPORTUNITIES Increase knowledge through inclusive debate, experience sharing, best practices and policies exchange at the level of Federal and State Government, Local Authorities, private parties and stakeholders in implementing the Smart City agenda. Collaboration opportunities between local authorities, government, private agencies, stakeholders, industrial players and technology solution providers in the implementation of the Smart City initiative.
